Comic Con Celebrates BOOP! in New York

Having already taken Broadway by storm with BOOP! The Musical, Betty made her NYC Comic debut with an amazing panel entitled Betty Boop: The 100-year evolution from Animation to Broadway and Beyond. The panel featured Mark Fleischer, Max Fleischer grandson and current Head of Fleischer Studios, Fleischer Studios' Vice President of Business Operations Susan Wilking Horan and Creative Director Frank Caruso, members of the Broadway producing team, and Jasmine Amy Rogers — the recent Broadway star who brought Boop to life onstage. The panel featured drawings that traced Betty's evolution over the decades, highlighted Betty's role as a pioneering symbol of female power and positivity.

BOOP! honored with three Drama Desk Awards!

Congratulations to Amy Jasmin Rogers, Jerry Mitchell and Gregg Barnes - all recipients of 2025 Drama Desk Awards for their spectacular work on BOOP! The Musical.

Jasmin Amy Rogers was honored (in a tie with Audra MacDonald) as Outstanding Lead Performer in a Musical for her role as Betty Boop, Jerry Mitchell was honored as Outstanding Choreographer for a Musical, and Gregg Barnes won Outstanding Costume Design for a Musical!

The Drama Desk Awards were presented in New York City on June 1, 2025.

Congratulations to our own Jasmine Amy Rogers, winner of 2025 Audience Choice Award for the Best Breakthrough Performance (female) for so perfectly embodying Betty Boop in BOOP! The Musical.

Outstanding Dancer in a Broadway Show: Jasmine Amy Rogers
Outstanding Ensemble in a Broadway Show: the cast of BOOP!

The mission of the Chita Rivera Awards is to celebrate dance and choreographic excellence, preserve notable dance history, recognize past, present, and future talents, while promoting high standards in dance education and investing in the next generation.
