Comic Con Celebrates BOOP! in New York

Having already taken Broadway by storm with BOOP! The Musical, Betty made her NYC Comic debut with an amazing panel entitled Betty Boop: The 100-year evolution from Animation to Broadway and Beyond. The panel featured Mark Fleischer, Max Fleischer grandson and current Head of Fleischer Studios, Fleischer Studios' Vice President of Business Operations Susan Wilking Horan and Creative Director Frank Caruso, members of the Broadway producing team, and Jasmine Amy Rogers — the recent Broadway star who brought Boop to life onstage. The panel featured drawings that traced Betty's evolution over the decades, highlighted Betty's role as a pioneering symbol of female power and positivity.
