What does every on think of the ever increasing gasoline prices?
Just the other day I paid $2.09 for 87octane.

I don't have a car, so I'm not having problems with it (yet)... But it is very expensive, and the price'll only get higher, I guess...

wow that sounds like alot to me. our prices have also skyrocketed. We were paying on average 70-85c per litre for unleaded now its on the $1 mark. good thing i've only got a smallish car and 1 tank of approx $30-$35 will last me a week.

The gas prices are just as high here in Arizona and they seem to go up 3 cents a day!! We were planning a driving trip about 2500 miles each way from Arizona to Ohio but now we're not so sure because gasoline is so high.

well gas prices have always been high here even when everyone else has low prices, so everyone is lineing up at costco where the prices r cheap but that is only for those who have a costco card. the price here is $2.35 (i think).........i'm not driving right now cause my husband uses the truck for work and thats the only car we have for right now.

$15.00 usually makes the belly of my tank happy. Lately it's been taking nearly $28.00 to fill to capacity.

Lil74 you are right that you don't have to deal with it now but someday when you're driving your own car, you will know what we're going through. I hope gas prices come way down before you start driving!!
Neckless... this trip to Ohio will be with our truck and camper trailer.. but at this point we're not sure we can afford it. I figured it out and it's going to be about $2,000.00 to drive and about $1,000 to send my husband by plane.
My longest motorcycle trip was 160 miles in one day... and that was quite a trip for me... since I'm such an old lady... LOL...
Boopcrazy I've heard that everything (not just gasoline) is expensive in Hawaii.. I guess cause most everything has to be shipped in? My friends just got back and they said they are starting to save now for their next trip in 2006.

We're about 1800 miles from Ohio... it's a 4 day drive... and that's just one way... so it's cheaper to fly!!

yes biker that is true everything here is costly, milk is $5/gal and everything else it's a good idea that they are saving now for the 2006 trip by then things may cost even more. It is mostly due to mostly everything has to be shipped in.
It cost to live in the sun. :D

Great idea Neckless.
The cost of living here is not too bad in comparison to average wages. I mean we'd all like more but we get by.
we just brought a 10+acre (4.2 hectare) property 1 hour south of Brisbane and it cost us $215,000. AUS$.
Milk is approx $2/per 2litres. Fuel $0.97 per litre. Bread $1.10 per loaf. So not too bad Other states are bit different and mainly more expensive. oh and by the way our Sunshine is free but only in QLD. They have to pay in the southern states that's why they dont get much. ;) just kiddin'

I could afford to buy a Hummer if I lived in Australia.
WOW! Milk is $5.00 a gallon in Hawaii?...
What is the minimum wage?
Cost of living is incredible.
