Betty Boop was created by Grim Natwick and was characterized as a dog and appeared as a girlfriend for another dog named Bimbo. Betty's figure was modeled after Mae West's and her singing style from Helen Kane the "Boop - Boop-a Doop" girl. Betty Boop's voice was of May Questal.

Betty Boop Made her debut as a sexy canine Cabaret Singer in the Max Fleisher Short "Dizzy Dishes" on 8th August 1930. In 1931 Betty's friends Koko the clown and Pudgy, Bimbo's replacement, were introduced.






Betty Evolved when she shed her dog like identity and her long ears became her earrings. Betty Boop was considered the first animated female screen star who could do it all - Drama, Musicals and Comedy. In 1933 Betty Boop was banned in Philadelphia for her role in "Boilesque" due to it being too risqué. By 1934 , due to moralist pressure, Betty Boop began showing far less leg. There were more than one hundred Betty Boop cartoons produced including ninety in the official Betty Boop series.

We only stock Official Betty Boop goods and we still offer our customers in the UK Free Standard Postage, which is normally 2- 4 days.

We currently only sell our goods to Europe, with a couple of customers in Greece, Malta, and Australia.

Currently our Best Seller is the Betty Boop Duvet Cover Set which we have sought from Australia as we have not been able to locate one nearer.
