interesting info on bb

i always thought of betty boop as a woman in her early 20s
turns out shes my age! she was and always will be 16 years old, now aint that interesting? oh and her b day is april the 1st.
guess were a little bit too late to wish her happy birthday :P

well, i recently bought a values book and in it there is a very rare old magazine shown which is so collectable because it has one of the only interviews published with max fliecher him self.
in the article he talks about betty boop. and this is where he declairs that betty boop was drawn as a 16 yr old and was intended to never age. he also says that her bday is april the first. im not sure if this is the day max drew her, or if its just the day max decided would be her bday...an ironic date huh? :)

im guessing she naturally developed over the years, drawings got better and her personality evolved, so that she really is a a lot older then 16, even though she was intended to remain 16. does this make sense???
