i'm a nurse working at Besancon hospital and for that they keep my place at the hospital if i want untill my last child is 8 but i'm not paid of course . i get some money from state as i stopped working untill my last child is 3 years old tht's not bad .I think french politic teach people to get money without working and the less they do the less they want to do not everybody is like that though ! well i'm not complaining!

That is interesting. I wish sometimes that America would help people out and not make it so hard to stay home and raise a family.:D Sometimes when one needs a little booste we are made to feel like sloths for asking. But the Lord has always been on my side and sometimes it's hard and sometimes it is so easy that I look back over my shoulder and say "Oh yes, you were talking to me, that blessing had my name on it";) My favorite humbling word is "grateful";) I love that word. Have a great day BB'ers

Valerie

i like that word too and believe that god helps us sometimes but in france it's not use to a lot to say god bless you we never hear our president pronounces these words i think that would perhaps make people more quiet !?

I'm actually at both -- home and work. I'm actually a freelance court reporter, so when I'm not in the field taking down testimony, I'm home transcribing the day's fun events...lol. I love it. I'll love it even more because once I start having a family (God willing) I will be able to be home and yet still make some money.

For now it pays for my bills, savings and, oh, yeah, BETTY BOOP stuff... gotta love it :D

Well ya know what? I'll say God Bless, to each and everyone of you.:D Because not only does the recipient get a blessing but the person who granted God's Blessings will get a blessing.;)
I hear what you are saying about having the money to by BB stuff. I have come to the conclusion that I could never have to much BB stuff, so not having very much money is no big deal. Afterall it's only money, right?:) I also have found some of my greatest treasures that cost so little. It does take a lot of looking, searching, digging in shops.:D But who's complaining? Be happy all, be good, & God bless you and I pray that you all prosper in every part of your lives ;)

Being a member of this forum may be habit forming and addicting. Some of the symptoms you may experience include:

- Neglecting your work, children, spouse and/or forgetting to eat by checking this forum just one more time... after you've just checked 5 seconds ago!

- Obsession with going out to the stores to find BB products... and it's 2:30 am!

- Look forward to dreaming about BB... and you just woke up!

- Having BB nightmares... and you've never had nightmares before!

- Wanting to get rid of the brand new TV you just bought... so you can make room for shelves to put your BB collectibles on!

When I check the forum, I am using the computer in my office. Since my "hobby turned business" is selling Betty Boop gifts and collectibles, I see a lot of her during the day on my computer and when I chit chat on the forum.

By the time I get home at night, I don't even turn the computer on cause I'm just too tired.

Hello everyone, usually when I check the site I am usually at home, you see I work in a bakery in our local grocery store so I am usually knee deep in cake icing I decorate cake for A living. I have some good news me and my husband are trying to start A family, so when I become A mom I will probably be staying home for A year or so. I'm excited but scared too so is my husband but I'm sure we will be good parent's.

Welcome!:D Speaking from experience thinking about raising children with all the known and unknown out there,to me it was harder than having my babies and raising them. Sure you'll have hard times and great times but most of all you'll have good times. keep them as young an innocent as you possibly can and enjoy every one of their years and stages. And for you and your husband, enjoy each other with love & respect, always. Show your children (or child) what it is like to be married to a good spouse and he for you, set the example and you will be their hero's in their eyes;) We have a great time here and enjoy each other's company fro as long as we are all together, no matter what the distance.
If you have been here before, than I am new to you, so then I would say thank you for allowing me to be a small part of the forum. God Bless you. Have a Berry Betty Day!:D

hello Jennyboop

coffeesonme just told you the right words for the family and don't worry you always find what is best for your children because most of the time they tell you what to do if you take enough time to look at them properly and to listen to them . Of course you won't have much time left to you to join this site (hihihihihih) but it's so enjoyable that you always forget the bad moments I have 4 girls from 15 years old till 7 months old it's very tiring but so much life in the house lots of love to this new family !:) :) :) :) :) :)

Kind of a sad day today. My hubby's little Mom passed away last night. he was going to see her in March, but couldn't get away. She was 91 (bless her heart) and they had a beautiful relationship. So I'll get back to all you Booper's tomorrow.
God Bless

My little sister Emily called me and told me she is pregnant with her first child. I am going to be an aunt. She is really hoping I get pregnant soon so we can both be pregnant at the same time. That would be pretty cool our kid's would be about the same age. I am now going to known as Aunt Jen.:)

Thank you so much for your concerns. Hubby went to work this morning. He said as long as people stop hugging him, he'll be okay, gulp! I know how hard loosing a parent can be, I lost my Dad 15 years ago on Christmas Day! It doesn't become easier, just more fimiular.:(
Booper, Aunt Jen:D Isn't it amazing? One loved one leaves this earth and then the Lord turns it around and gives us all another blessing in the form of a baby:D Congrats;)

Me and my husband got some very bad news over the weekend his military unit here in Illinois- United States is being deployed over to Germany or Kuwait for 6 month's or longer:( . I am lucky though his specialtiy is communication's so he won't be in any combat at all he will be stationed at A US military base being very protected, but I'm still scared for him not mention very very sad, I'm going to miss him ALOT!. I am tryin to be very strong for him but sometimes it's tuff. I went to church on Sunday and it did make me feel A little bit better, I'll probebly be going alot now. I try to keep positive I have too, we can write each other, he can make phone call's home, and hopefully we can e-mail each other. We still have 2 week's together he leaves on the 15th so you know I am going to make the best of it. All my fellow booper's please keep my husband in your prayer's so he will return home soon safe and sound. :( I don't know about you but I really don't like President Bush right now, he is way too war happy. Me and my husband are completly against this war even before this happened. To me there is no need for this war. God Bless everyone keep us in your prayer's.

We'll be praying for your husband's safe return and all soldiers going over there.

Valerie
03-04-2003, 03:37 PM
be sure that we french don't want the war neither i'll have a strong thinking about you both an also be sure to find a lot of comfort on the site anytime you need support, think of writing here, for myself, i swear to always answer you and i'm sure you'll receive so many posts from all of us that you'll have enough posts left to read with your husband becauseyou'll have so many posts unread because of lack of time (i hope you'll understand this little piece of humour) all that to tell you that we are all with you and your husband;)

coffeesonme
03-04-2003, 07:54 PM
Rest assured our prayers will be with you! No one in their right minds likes war, but sometimes we are called to do things that aren't very pleasant. We will pray for you and your husband. I have been a military wife before and sometimes it's just not fun. God bless;)
