I need help identifing a porcelain Betty Boop http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/0/2/2/1/5/2/webimg/166266468_o.jpg

She is a Limited Edition 4779 of5000 by Syd Hap. She is approximately 16" tall, dressed in a black and white evening dress with a white stole with black tips. She reminds me of Cruella De Vil of 101 Dalmations.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. DM seems to think that she is Winter's Starlet introduced in Feb 07, but they aren't for sure.
Thank you.

Hi,
Syd Hap is under contract with Danbury Mint, so this would be one of their dolls. I have not kept up with these, and I don't understand why they would not know if it was theirs .. . perhaps you could contact someone in the advertising dep't that prints those ads in the Sunday Parade magazine. If I find anything else, I'll let you know.

Say, here's an idea . . . contact Syd Hap directly at her studio in Woodstock: call her at 845 679 0787. She is there Fri, Sat, Sunday

Finally found out this is the Dressed to Perfection Betty came out in 2004 and discontinued in 2005. Thanks for the help. ;)
