"sniff, sniff, sniff" you got me all teary eyed BBooper thank you, thank you. You know ladies and gents words cannot express how much I appreciate all your support and understanding through all of this stuff with my hubby it means alot to have friends like to you all. I'm feeling A (((((((((((BIG HUG for you all)))))))))))))) I will diffinentally have him come on here and show him all the support you have for him and his fellow troops you might all even make him cry too. He will need to see this when he get's home. Because he doesn't think he is doing anything that really important even though I tell him each everyday what he is doing is so important and that he is being A hero to everyone here in America but he doesn't seem to get it. He just seem's to see it as more of A pain in the butt, and he hates the fact that they kept him away from me for A year now. I think he will change his tune once he get's home and my father see's him for the first time because my father is so patriotic and so proud of him. Thank's again BBooper and everyone here.:)

oh wow! i dont know how you would do it to stay away for a year! When your hubby comes back tell him that he thinks very wrong, that he and his troops are big heroes here and that everyone looks up to them and appreciates what they are doing for us.Sometimes people dont see how many sacrifices they make for us but everyone is very proud of them all

Hey John. I am very proud of you. You are working in difficult circumstances and I know that you all are doing the best you can. I appreciate your service and dedication to our country...and the efforts of you and all of our soldiers to make this world a safer and more secure place to be... for the United States and its allies, and for the Iraqis, and all human beings who deserve to live free. You are one of our heroes. You better belive it!

I'm so relieved to hear that he is a "short timer" now.... that's what we called it when our fellows were getting ready to come home. They've been away long enough and I know you are just as thrilled as they are to be homeward bound real soon.
Love and hugs and prayers to you and your family!!

Hi Bear!! Welcome to the forum....hope you visit more often.
So Bear, are you saying that you were "In Country" during the height of vacation travel to Viet Nam? Glad to see you made it safely back home.
I just watched a movie Saturday night that had scenes of the Viet Nam Memorial in Washington D.C. in it and I cried and cried. It was very moving... made me think about guys and gals I went to school with who also traveled to Viet Nam on "vacation" and only dreamed of coming home.
I'm so happy John that you will be back home with Jenny in May!! Hooray!!! That is the best news I've heard in a long time. I wish all our American citizens were coming back home with you. Be safe!!

That reminds me that it's about time for me to do another charitable promotion.. haven't done one in a few months.....
Usually I sell pins.. Like a Betty Boop angel pin... and I donate the proceeds to a charitable cause... so I'm going to do that again and I'll donate the money to one of the vet organizations.
