sorry that you cannot start a picture gallery unless the pictures are drawn by yourself or are lisenced pictures. but i would love to see some hand drawn pics!

I do understand that the Official Betty Boop forum cannot show unlicensed pictures of Betty (or other characters).

Actually, I think there's been a fair amount of cleaning up being done on the Net. I don't see very many new pictures appearing on sites, and a lot seems to have been removed.

I'm a bit puzzled that we can post our own drawings. Not that I'd discourage it, but from a legal point of view, isn't any Boop drawing not approved by the King Corporation "unlicensed?"

However, and here's my rant, there aren't many official Boop pictures on the official Boop site, and those that are there, nice though they are, have been around for years.

Can we ask King for a few more "OK" pictures? I for one would love to see the little lady in other costumes and poses, and know that what I'm looking at is legitimate and not a rip-off.

I'd changed the rules to allow images of Betty Boop to be posted here. Members don't know whether an image is legit or not. However, every member needs to use their judgement whether an image is appropriate or not to be posted here in the forums. For example, a nude Betty is definitely a no-no.

If the posting of images gets out of hand, I'll put a stop to it.

Take at look at the Betty Boop eBoopCards for "approved" art.
