I will be 50 years old on July 13, 2003. People say that collecting Betty Boop and being so crazy about Betty Boop is so childish. I have only been knowing about Betty since 1985. My husband now started calling me Betty Boop when we started dating in April of 1985. He said that I had the big eyes and the bubbley attitude and having my name Betty made it perfect. My collecting started then and has continued. It is still a joy to find something that I don't have. I am glad to be crazy about her.

You have to do what makes you happy, besides what is wrong with liking Betty and collecting her collectibles? I'm 32 I just adore her. I get more flack for liking Marilyn Monroe they just think that is so strange that I like someone who has been gone for 40 year's. You need to do what makes you happy don't listen to them. I myself love Betty will collect her stuff and watch her cartoon's.

i'm french and my last daughter is also a july 13th baby, she starting lking "boopboop" i'll be 40 on the10th of june and i really don't see what is wrong in liking BB, i wish yoou could see me when i hear about BB my face just turns from every colors of the rainbow ! we just love her and that's all long live to BB

It is so cool to hear of othr people with the same BD as mine. I am the same way when someone tells me that thye saw something with BB on it I get excited and say where. :D

Don't listen to those crazy ppl who tell u collecting BB is childish! I know a lady who's 83 and still collects BB things!!! We all have to find something that sets us free from this crazy world...so why not get in where u fit in?

Lucky for all of us, though, we have these forums where we can all share our obsessions with each other!!! ;) LOL

Good Day Follow Boopers;

Sometimes I feel that my collection is childish but when I talk to my students and children about something I found out bb I'm glad that I have my collection and her name. Thats why my whole collection started in the first place, my real name is Betty. So everyone else that knows me, thinks I have that same bubblely personality of bb and kind of look like her. My eyes have a green hue to them. So I feel over honored that I have the name and collection.

How are you??? yes, it's only 5 weeks until "Baby Boop" LOL will be here in my arms...:D

This Sunday, I will be 35 wks pregnant....almost there! I have some of the things that I need....but I am going to have my baby shower on the 27th of this month....therefore, everyone has been telling me to NOT buy baby supplies! Hope that means I'll get a lot of gifts!!! heheheee!!!!

Unfortunately, Baby Boop doesn't particularly have a name yet...:( If I had a real nerve...I'd name her Betty!!!! LOL Wouldn't that be something!!!!

Thanks for your concern Valerie!!! I will surely post lots of baby pics as soon as I possibly can! :D

yes we're all impatient being pregnant to buy things for our baby to come..
In france we also say we must not buy to much things long before baby comes
and that's why i was even more impatient ..!! because i like having things as soon as i decide to get then : that 's why for me being pregnant is a real patience lesson!!!!! 9 months, that's the longest time i've ver waited to have something i mean someone in this case .!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And i managed to wait that time 4 times!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
Betty is not a bad name, in fact i've thought of it for Stella without thinking of the link with our BB strange!!!!!
don't worry, we found Stella a fortnight befare she comes!!!!!!!
she's the fourth the imagination turns shortly!!!!!!!
enjoy the last weeks on your own though you mustn't feel alone totally now, you take 2 seats now hihihihi LOL!!!!!!!!
