Bb Wall Vase

I Recently Bought This Wall Vase And Need Help Dating It. Also I Have Never Seen Bb In Such Conservative Style Dress Before. It Is In Excellent Condition, A Little Paint Wear On Her Shoes, But No Nicks Or Chips. Any Help You Can Give Me Would Be Appreciated. Any Idea How Much It May Be Worth? I Tried To Attach A Pic But Your File Won't Let Me, Says Its Too Large. I Looked At You Pic And Saw A Wall Vase Like Mine. It Is The Gold Colored One With Blue Around The Neck.

Hi Shirley,
This is from the 1930s, unauthorized, unlicensed from Japan. There are many items as such from the mid-1930s from Japan, and as you notice, they were fond of both Betty Boop and Mickey Mouse. I've always liked the idea of them together, and it's fun to find these items. All are quite rare, and this wall vase typically goes for $150 - $300.
The dress was typical of her cartoons after the Hays Commission started dictating moral codes for film, including cartoons, and probably led to Betty's disappearance after 1939.
Hope you got a good deal on the vase - a wonderful find at any price!
