Do you think we should have an official auction site on eBay or one here?

i think it should be just on here, then we all have a chance to see it. :)

I think we should have an offcial bettyboop auction site here, that would be swell!

hmmmm... with two members voting for having the auction here... I wonder why eBay has a vote?!? LOL

Ebay would be nice because it would generate more income for items and probably get some new people for the board.
The price difference for buyers would make it hard for people on the board from buying at times.
If you just do an aution on the board it would be good for buyers here on the board but not necessarily for sellers who would stand to make more money using an Ebay auction.
Personally I think that there should be both. Personal board only auctions for members and/or guests. That is for people who would like to see some items stay in the community and an Ebay auction to maximize profits.
Just my 2 cents :)

You can vote without posting a comment... that's why there are more votes than there are posts.

If you host auctions here, will you charge the same as eBay or will we get better fees?

if it was here there would be alot less chance that someone who wasnt a fan would try to pull the wool over the eyes of us BB lovers.

That is so true!I was at a site and the seller was selling a danbury mint betty boop out for a stroll figurine and I made an offer and she didn't accept because she said that she paid 125.00 for it.I called her on that.Danbury mint sold that figurine for only 35.00 plus shipping.

I see by the pool that we are all a bunch of BUYING boopaholics. Very very few would dream of getting rid of any of their Boop....LOL

I only part with my BB items when I've run out of room or decided to just collect one or two themes rather than collect everything.

;)I think it would be best to have an Auction site here. If they put an Official Auction site here, i would most likely use it to buy.
