I recently came across an old (1930's, I believe) sign that advertised Betty Boop 16 mm films for sale. The text is:
BETTY BOOP
16 m.m.
FILMS
FOR SALE
HERE
At the bottom right hand corner, there is a copyright mark with 193_ inscribed.
This sign is made out of some type of thick paper or cardboard stock about 1/4". The back of the sign has a wooden stand and brace.
I'm not sure when 16 mm Betty Boop films were sold, or where they were sold. Does anyone know about signs like these? I've attached an image for you to see.
Take care,
Bill
