Terry Deary, a local writer, i like him!! his book's are very fasinating! he write's Horrible History books,may fav subject!!! he lives in the town next to ine! i read one of his books about a place next to where i live and loved it!!! Can you get his book's all the way in America??

How dare you say you are a boring Briton... I never heard of such a thing!!! You live in a very beautiful country that is very cultural and you have a Queen and those gorgeous young men.. Prince William and Harry... oh my ... be still my heart.. they are so handsome... and you have beautiful English cottages and English gardens and sooooo much history... I have only seen it on television and in books.

And isn't the woman who writes Harry Potter books, isn't she English too? And look at all the wonderful forum members who share your country's heritage too and they are certainly not boring so don't say you are boring because you aren't!!! And neither is your heritage.

I'm proud to know so many wonderful British people who aren't snobbish or full of themselves but who are warm and sharing and caring and loving too.
