Well, I think that she is pushing sensationalism too far myself. She could have been a role model for young ladies, but she is definately NOT one at this point.
She should learn some class from our Betty Boop!

Well, I for one was just answering Boopitized, and after that I really don't have another thought about her.....
There are so many more talented people to pay attention to!

I'm so old fashioned, I can't hardly stand to watch any of the young "stars" today.... my folks thought Elvis Presley and the Beatles and Rolling Stones were bad... ha...... they don't hold a candle to the performers of today. It really bothers me but nothing I can do about it... it's up to young people to set the tone for the music industry and what they allow performers to get away with. It won't change without young people changing their attitudes.

oh well each to their own, i personaly think shes under a lot of pressure to dress the way she does to stay wer she is, on top of the pop chart. and if she wants it that bad den good luk to her

it seems like lately pop diva'z have to go and perform in next to nothing to get attention. if the were really about the music they wouldn't need to!

Well I hope the price of fame is worth the price of losing their dignity and class and mystique. Women are graceful creatures and should leave something to the imagination and not expose it all for the world to see.
You know I remember my grandfather telling me when I was a real little girl to always be a country lady. And that always stuck with me. I still recall... best of all.. what he said to me... he said "love the flowers and the trees... be like the honey from the bees and always be ... a country lady.."
And that's what my grandmother is... she's 96 1/2 years old and still a country lady. Pretty neat huh.
It's like Betty Boop... she's smart and sexy but she never crosses that fine line that seperates being a floozey and still being a lady... that's why she works as both a biker and rebel rouser as well as being dignified in a beautiful long flowing dress like a princess or royalty and she also works as a nurse or even someone in the military. She knows how to handle herself no matter what the situation... so she's a great role model for us all.

Yes, BikerBettyBoop! I agree.
A woman should be able to maintain her classiness and glamour without getting sleazy!
Real talent should not have to rely on shock value and baring all.
The REAL divas and stars in this world can rely on their talent and saavy. And they will be timeless and last for many years.
I am afraid that Brittany is diving too low and is just a passing fancy. Had she focussed more on developing her talent and grown as an entertainer she would have been able to weather the soft times as well as the good times and she would have endured. But I'm afraid that she has blown any chance of a sustained career and has become just another cheap bimbo.
I hope that she has the sense to marry well so that her future will be taken care of!

 Ok I have to admit I like Brittany Spears, but I don't see her fame lasting for much longer:( especially if she keep's making this goofy decisions in her career like her impromtu marriage, her drinking, smoking because she say's she likes the way her voice sounds ect. Well if she keep's this up Madonna one of her big supporters is going to turn her back on her. On that same note, I believe all this stuff Brittany is doing is A rebelion against everyone who dictates her life on how to dress, sing, ect. I just wish all the singer's who are out there today like Christina Agulara I really like her and Pink and Britt didn't have to dress the way they do but alot of the people in the industry dress these ladies this way because *** sell's. It's just ashame they don't think their talent alone will help them sell records. Look at Janet Jackson look what she did, and GEE guess what she has A new CD coming out in March. All this mess with her is plublicity only and GEE I seen the cover of her new CD and she is topless. It's A real shame with her that she had to do all of this because that lady has real talent.:D I could go on and on about this but I won't.

Hi Jenny and Lizzy... Well the three of us women are in agreement about sleaze.. sleeze? ... in the music world... and it just goes to show that most of them will do whatever it takes to be "on top".. unfortunately it's just a sad sign of the times.
And I'll stop yakking about it too.. I think we got our point across.

Hi There;
If you have not seen the movie Suspect you must rent it. The movie was released in 1987.
A deaf homeless Viet Nam Vet Carl Wayne Anderson ( Liam Neeson ) is accused of murder. Cherilyn Sarkisian Bono Allman (Cher) plays public defender Kathleen Riley, Dennis Quaid plays lobbyist/juror Eddie Sanger. While court is recessed at the end of each day Dennis Quaid and Cher team up as Private Investigators to search for clues that they hope will lead to the real killer.
Frasier fans will recognize John Mahoney ( who plays Frasier and Niles Dad ) as the judge.

Well, I hope she realizes that she is not making the right career choices by exposing all. She gets attention for now, but I think ultimately she turns people off and it may jeopardize her career.
I hope that she'll see the light and builds on her talents and not the sleaze...

I hope that she'll see the light and builds on her talents and not the sleaze... I have to agree. But look at Madonna when she first came out she was not saint either. I think Britany is trying to follow in Madonna's foot steps. Yea it worked for madonna but I don't think it will work for Britany.:D

Well, Madonna has had quite a time of disrespect too. She can still be scandelous. But she has an entirely different look, personality, and attitude where she can pull it off. Maybe because she's from New Jersey (or thereabouts). She's got "chutzpa".
But I also think that she has more talent and the superior singing voice, and that helps....
Brittany on the other hand has more of a girl-next-door look and attitude, so when she does or wears something scandelous it's more shocking. She has a sweet face and sweet look and I think that she should play off that instead. And shop around for a better repoirtoire....
