Can someone clear this up for me... yesterday my auntie told me that in the city she lives there is a channel that says little facts all day... well she told me that one of the facts was that Betty's hair was actually red not black that the only movie her hair came out like that was in a movie called Cinderella.

Can someone clear that up for me!!:D:confused: :confused:

Well... if her hair was supposed to be red... wouldn't we be seeing it on the merchandise and the avatar you're using?

Besides, I think she looks better with black hair! ;)

Perhaps your auntie is confusing Betty with Lucille ball?
Lucille was really a brunette and started her show biz career as a dancer and started on stage in the chorus. However, early on in her career she started dying her hair red and her career took off. That red hair soon became her trademark. She was one of the funniest commediennes of all time! I miss her.

Your auntie is kind of right. Basically 'Cinderella' is the only movie that BB starred in which was in technicolor and for some reason, they decided to make her a red head. However, she seems to have had very black hair since so they obviously recognised that it wasn't a great look for her! I think they were probably experimenting cos they finally got to shoot the movie in colour so they used as many different colours as possible!! haha!

I've seen some of the new images of Betty with red hair and I agree that she looks so much better with black hair.

Sometimes I'm a red head too.. just depends on which Clairol mood I'm in at the time....

Yea I'm A red head but it's not natural it come's from A bottle. But I do get alot of people asking me if my haircolor is my own because it look's so natural.:D

I'm usually between brown and brownish red.. never been a real raging red head... have been blonde a few times but it's hard to keep up being a blonde.

Well, he he he, I am a redhead via Clairol myself!

My natural color was mahogany brown with red highlights, but when the gray started setting in I had to cover it, vain creature that I am... lol. They don't make my haircolor in a bottle, so I decided to go red. I really like it. The bottled browns are just too mousey for me, just not me.....

I agree, I prefer Betty with black hair! It looks great with her peaches and cream complexion!:D
