The shop is coming along...so much work. Our ad in the SBC yellow pages has come out, but it is obvious that we need more advertising. So today we have made a commitment to the Thunder Press. For now, we are putting in a small ad. But if it ends up making an impact, I will go bigger. We are also looking at putting ads in other papers. We still have a lot of work to do, but I'm hoping for a Grand Opening in maybe April. That's when our first Thunder Press ad will break.

BBooper, you have nimble fingers and I am sure that you are deserving of every prize!;)

Hi Lizzy... I used to advertise in Thunder Press but it's pretty expensive and is just filled with lots of ads... so now I am advertising in Full Throttle and AZ Rider .. you may want to consider advertising in those two or one of those instead of or in addition to Thunder Press.

I can send you copies of the mags if you don't have them or give you contact info if you're interested.

Advertising does help and we ask customers how they found us and many have told us from our ads in the motorcycle mags.

Well, my fiance and I are starting up a new business. We call it Dragon's Hotrod & Motorcycle Customizing. We sell and install custom accessory parts, specialty lighting like neons and LEDs, rear view camera systems, power lift ramps, and Don etches glass and plexiglass windshields. We are becoming dealers for some big names in the business such as Kury Akyn. Soon we will be selling choppers on consignment, as soon as we finish painting the big showroom. It's taking a long time because I am being fancy about it...painting graphics on the walls. But the store is starting to look very nice, and we've gotten lots of compliments on it. Several people have said that out store looks very classy. My influence is there in the artwork on the walls. We are now selling framed lithograph art prints of motorcycles (mostly Harleys) and a couple of classic cars.

We still need to work on installing our shopping cart, so we aren't doing much there. I've been focussing on our land store. Also, we are changing some of our products and I need to revamp the whole thing anyway. But you can still go on and see what we have and still buy stuff. We just need to handle any purchases by phone or email at this time.
