Well, here my entry! :)

These are what I have made of Betty Boop. The pillow on the left I made at school. I cut out the Betty Boop from an old t-shirt!! I made the Betty Boop rag doll when I was 10 and the pillow on the right I made at home. i embroyeded it :) it's got purple velvet and pink feather boa on! :)

Ok... here are the placemats that I made... no laughing..... they are both different... made with biker Betty Boop bandannas and some red dotted fabric to give them some zing. They are padded and quilted and very far from perfect... but it was fun to make them....

They aren't perfect but I used what I had available without tearing up brand new bandannas... works for my hubby and I... or is it my hubby and me? I never could keep that straight.

I have a few other ideas.. just need to take the time to make them.... have a great weekend.. I'll probably be out of town for a five days.

Thanks for the compliment but they are already in use and we've been using them for a couple weeks now. They are on my kitchen table. I have some other Betty Boop placemats that are plastic but I think they are better for the summer and these are better for the winter because they are warmer.

Making placemats is very easy. I just used pieces of left over bandanna fabric but you could use just about anything. They were very easy to make and I should've dedicated more time to making them nicer but it was a quick project. I like using bandannas because they are inexpensive and nice quality and so many different styles available.

Those placemats are really quite awesome! Great job! I bet you could sell them at craft fairs! Now that's using your noodle about how to use old bandanas!

BBooper your pillows are beautiful. You posted the one with the boa before and it is just as beautiful as ever.

And the picture frame... what a clever idea!!!! Simple, pretty, functional... what more could you ask for?

This is going to be a very hard decision to judge.

I was tempted to enter my etched windshield on my motorcycle but Don hand etched it, I didn't. I don't know if that would count. If it was a winner, though, I'd give him the prize! He did a fabulous job. He used a Dremel and an engraving tool.

Well, they are two different pics... The etching is shown better in the second one. The first one is older and you can't see it as well. When I tried to change it in the first post the name of the newer one stuck as the description, stragely enough, but the image remained of the older picture. Very strange. Very strange. So I ended up posting the correct one in a second post.

Now I just went in and the new image has been corrected. I guess it was a delay by the site. I will post the first one.

Now the description is of the first photo but the picture of the second remains. Very strange. I'll have to check back later to see if the image switches again!
