man, this betty boop habbit is proving to be very pricey, i am constantly pennyless thanx to my boop collection. everytym i try to save mony for anything else i always end up buying somthing betty!!
even when i have no money i still get betty stuff by asking my mum to considor it as an early bday / xmas / easter / wedding / funeral present, anything to get my betty stuff!!! looks like i aint gonna get another present from her in a long time!!! hehe
i even get into debt sometimes when im really desperate by borrowing money off people i know to feed my addiction, i guess im hooked!!
i dont have a display case and so all my dolls are packed away in boxs. everytym i mean to get a glass case ders always a boop item that i decide to get instead, im never gona b able to display my collection its not fair!!!! and so it never feels like i have anything to show 4 all the money i have spent.
part of me does think betty boop items are seriously overpriced, esp 4 younger boop fans and esp in england wer boop items are rare and have to imported its not fair, if only i could get nice betty boop stuff from the pound shop or a carboot sale!

lol sounds like a good idea, but i know id just end up spending up both accounts on betty! i just cant controll myself, especially when i see very rare items come up on ebay which i know il probably never see again.
but atleast im getting better! i bought betty boop leather jacket recently. insted of getting a brand new one for $350 i got a slightly worn one for $46,
im so proud!

It seems like everytime I turn around there is a brand new Betty Boop item that I just have to have!!! We need a new display case just for the new items I have! I still have some things in boxes waiting to display but I don't like to leave them out exposed cause they get dusty.

I guess that's why they have the nickname "dust collectors". I hate to see them get dusty, so I try to keep them in display cabinets with glass doors... but they're still not totally dust free.

Have you ever tried the air in a can stuff to clean them with? I'm half afraid to try it cause I sure wouldn't want to damage any of my figurines.

If I were you I would use any kind of spray on the figurines - you'd be devastated if something were to happen to them! xx

Yes, that's what I was thinking too and that's why I haven't sprayed them. I just dust them off with a feather duster and even then I'm holding my breath that they aren't damaged.

We have them here in Arizona but not in England.. I woudn't think it would cost too much to ship them to you.
