there is an official BB fan club. there are also some others but i dont think they are licensed, so i wouldn't go for it!

The oldest fan club that I'm aware of is the one in which Bobbie West is the president. She started it about 16-18 years ago. She is based in California.

yes, that's the one i'm in! just i don't get my newsletters in time, your supposed to get 4 a year and over 3 years i've gotten 2!

I know Bobbie keeps pretty busy. She works full time and just doesn't have anyone to help her out.

Yes anytime you take on a responsibility like that it means a lot of work and I'm not sure she has the time for it.

I recently offered to take the task over from her but she isn't about to hear of it from me. Oh well.. I tried......

I also tried to work with her on developing ideas etc for the Betty Boop convention but she doesn't really like my ideas or input so will probably do something seperately instead of together.

Oh please don't think I am saying negative things about Bobbie because I'm not. I understand her passion for the club and know how busy she is. I know that she wants to continue being president of the club because she has a lot of pride and enthusiasm.. she just needs more time to devote to it and it's difficult for her to find that time because she has a full time job too.

no, im not bad mouthing her i just think she needs some help and make it easy on herself. i mean it cant be good for her to be rushing around all the time and going to work and having to do newsletters.

It's difficult to manage time properly sometimes... it's all about priorities and being able to multi-task.

I think you do a good job of it as it is so you don't need to change anything... besides you can only post once every minute... so no need to go any faster.... just be patient and have fun... that's what it's all about.
