It is favorable here in Portland Oregon. Was out and about today eventhough it was raining like water being poured out of a boot, saw my first bloomed Azalya bush , baby pink.;) Can spring be far away? Or is this a cruel joke? I ponder.

Today is 2/26/03 and it has been raining, snowing, cold and windy here in Arizona... unusual weather for us.

We had had warm temperatures, so all the roses and fruit trees have buds on them.. now they are frozen.

Brrrrrrr.......

Oh No! How upsetting!:( Here in Portland it also had been warm, warm enough to just get things budding. It dropped down in temp and my beautiful wild fushia got really frost bitten. I hope it comes out of it. Our pond had a little frost on it and the fishes we have in there are just swimming around all the water plants like they don't have a care in the world. THAT makes my bones ache:eek: But thank goodness I'm not a fish!:D Keep warm!

 Oh No! I hope you didn't catch a cold in doing so. Well here in Portland the sun is shining bright! Blue skys with a slight wind. Every tree is seemly budding. Our Camellia bush is covered with buds and already has 2 huge blossoms opened. (It was grafted with another Camellia bush, so it's 1/2 red & 1/2 white). But I hope this is not just a ploy for old mr. winter to blow a freezing wind later on and bite the little buds and kill them off:( I would be cranky:D )
Everyday I look out the window longing to get out in my gardens and lawn. I feel the need to plant something!:D
The little birds are staking out different little houses that we have made through out the yard and the Robins are looking for a good branch to fix their nest.
We have a lot of evergreen trees so they make a mess on the driveway when the wind blows real fearce.:o
But I'm not going to wish my life away, for time to hurry up just for spring, then i would miss the blessing of that day:D
Well I hope this took your mind off having to walk home in the rain and being soaked! Have a great day;)
