I've been busy trying to finish a few projects that's due for launch.

I also spent most of the day (Tuesday) outside of the office visiting the company that will be doing the new Betty Boop [intentionally censored ;)]. The target date is May 24!

BTW, I was told the ad for the BB credit card would be ready in 2 - 3 weeks. I'll believe it when it happens!

Yes, it's safe to order the Betty Boop credit card online. Clicking on the banner ad brings you to a secure site. You can tell by the lock on the bottom right side of your browser.

If you should decide to apply by calling, don't forget to mention the code JB9D.

Unfortunately, the card is only available to U.S. residents.

FYI= it is a real credit card that has betty on it.

Well Bank of America has very strict standards. That explains it. MBNA was more lenient. (I have credit cards from both banks... now the one bank...)

To get the card you need to have established credit history and an income. However, if the parent of a younger Booper gets the card it is possible to have an extra card made for the student. Of course, that is strictly up to Mom or Dad to do this, and they must have a credit rating in good standing.;)

Too bad Capital One isn't backing the card. It's easier to get credit with that bank.

I have finally applied for the BB credit card. I have not heard anything from them yet if I was approved or not. Is there a number that I can call to see if they approved me. I haven;t gotten an e-mail from them. Hmmmm, can't wait to find out.

I got my BB credit card today it only took 7 days for it to arive..it is really cute...now I have to go shopping to use it...hahaha on more BB stuff

Since I have quite a few credit cards already I had never even looked into this one. The other day I checked it out and I may just go for it. It is a reward type of Mastercard which I like to use for everyday purchases and pay off each month. Right now I am using my JC Penney Rewards Mastercard for that. I like to spend my reward bucks for goodies.
The Betty Boop Mastercard now has a special offer for you when you sign up. You can get 0% interest for a year on balance transfers. Now THAT'S motivational for me! I'm looking to get that card so I can do a couple of balance transfers... I can consolidate a couple of my other card balances and streamline my bill paying. You've got to love it!

That's too bad that you were denied but it is very cool that your bills will be gone in a few months. Being debt free is the way to be. I have a long way to go..... Perhaps in March you can reapply and get approved then?;)
