;)Hi, I am new to this forum and thanks to anyone that can help me.

I have a Betty Boop hankerchief or Hanky that my Mother in Law gave me. She got it as a young woman and she is 85 years old. The hanky is small and in pretty good condition(no holes or tears), but somewhat yellowed. It has Betty Boop in a yellow dress and and garter around one leg stamped on three corners. On the 4th corner Betty Boop is sitting on the half moon with, I think her dog. There is also a copyright mark under the moon. All the clothing is yellow and black and there is no other colors. Betty Boop sports yellow earrings. Does anyone know what years this may have come from. Also, I would like to clean it and mount it in a frame without damaging it.

Hi,
Without seeing the hanky, your description seems to fit this, a hanky from the 1930s: Betty and Bimbo sitting on a crescent moon. Next corner shows Koko cranking a movie camera, as Betty waves at the camera and Bimbo directs. Third corner Betty and Koko are singing at a microphone, and the last corner has Betty on a roller coaster.
The exact date is unknown, and they were made by Eichhold & Company, New York City, NY.
Yes, cleaning it and mounting it in a frame will certainly help preserve it. These can be worth anywhere from $40 - $100.
