I have a complete 12 pc mint set of Betty Boop America's Sweetheart Porcelain Plate Collection from The Danbury Mint with Certificate of Registration and a Certificate of Authenticity for each plate (from early 1990s). The plates are in their original styrofoam cases in MINT condition. I am interested in the value of this collection as a set. I am thinking of selling it.
Here are the names of each plate:
Bathing Beauty
It's Show Time
Sweetheart Slugger
Canyon Cutie
Stars and Stripes Forever
Homecoming Queen
Let It Snow
Shop Till You Drop
The Toast of the Town
This is the Life
Barnyard Beauty
Tropical Time

I came across this thread on this site http://www.bettyboop.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2686&highlight=danbury+mint+plates
and one of the threads states:
"It comes out to $16.67 per plate, not incuding shipping. Is the shelf included?
These were made by Danbury Mint and a search on Danbury Mint shows other plates going for $29.90. It sounds like a good buy if the plates are in mint condition with the certificates. If you can get then shipping, make sure you take out insurance on it and there's a tracking number. Also make payment using PayPal.
However, one thing that makes me leery of this deal is that it wasn't sold on eBay. Most things that are posted and reasonably priced will sell. If you could find the eBay link, it's worth looking at the description of the sale."
They suggest $16.67 per plate total of $200 plus shipping. How does 200 and I will pay all shipping charges sound? I can put them up on e-bay so we can both use paypal for mutual guarentee and use their insurance and stuff.

I do not have a wooden display for them and am not offering one, they are still in their styrofoam cases.

please give me a couple of days and i will have the money but i think a money order would be best due to you spending money posting them on ebay.
