I will slowly work my way through the threads but Im at work and its manic! They've made a shambles of my office and now I have to sort it all out - man I wanna go back to Greece!! He he

I went to Zakynthos. It was stunning weather and so relaxing! I do think however that the Greek people should be informed of the joy that is Betty Boop! Nothing anywhere!!

i went to Corfu, Rhodes and Kos.

I found Betty in Rhodes and in Corfu!!

There was a whole pub dedicated to her called champer pub in faliraki in rhodes!!

I also got 2 BB key chains in Corfu!!

yer, i got a plaque with her on outside it, so i got my photo taken outside of it holding my plaque. Unfortunatly we lost the photo's

I got some stickers from there though! stickers advertising the pub, but with BB on!

Wow it sounds like you had a great time in Greece.. what a beautiful country. Was it warm and sunny and did you see everything you wanted to see? Did you have an absolutely fabulous time?

Yeah, it was really beautiful and so sunny. Needless to say I returned home with an impressive tan - much to the annoyance of my lilly white friends!! We went to see a few sights like the ship wreck that has been left on a really beautiful cove for 22 years, and we also went to see the loggerhead turtles, although we only saw one! It was just such a lovely relaxing two weeks, and easing back into work has not been easy!
Also, we made two really nice friends who we had such a laugh with, and they're coming to visit us next month for my friend's 21st bday party - but my friend doesn't know...its a surprise!!

I would definitely reccomend Alykes in Zakinthos. Plenty of bars if you want them, but its also very quiet for when you have a thumping hangover!! Hehe

wow! Guess what! i'm going on holiday, AGAIN!!

this time im going to portugal, with my cousins. we are going with them because as you know my uncle died whilst on holiday, so we want to be there for their 1st holiday without their dad! :(

not yet! im goin at the end of october, im going to away for halloween, so wont be able to attend my friends party she has EVERY halloween! :(

But me and my cousins are going to have a halloween party on holiday in our apartment! that should be fun, the portugees will think we are MAD! :P

Too bad you can't post a card... I mean a real card, with a stamp. 'Greetz from portugal' (it was portugal, right?) I always like getting vacation cards!

Like I said in another post, I am green with envy that you are going on holiday in Portugal... wow that is so exciting!!!

But I'm like 10eke in that I miss the old days when we'd get post cards from friends and family when they were traveling around the United States or around the world. That was always so neat to see the picture on the post card and wonder what it would be like to be there at that very minute sharing the moment with them!!!

But it seems like postcards are going away .. in fact, I rarely get letters anymore (except from my 96 year old grandmother!! Yes, can you believe it, I have a grandmother who lives in Tucson and she is 96 years old!!) She still writes letters to me every week.

I love getting letters and cards in the mail.. it seems that the internet has taken away a lot of hand written letters and cards and that is sad isn't it?

But it is expensive to send post cards from Portugal to another country so we can't expect Bbooper to send out post cards!! We'll just have to hear about her adventures when she gets back and fills us in!!! Isn't she a lucky dog!?!

I find that when I send post cards on holiday, I get home before they do, so I don't bother anymore. My family always tell me not to waste my time so i don't! I emailed....oops!

It's sad that the mail takes so long to get delivered. Guess that's why they call it "snail mail".... haha...

and yes, you're right with the speed of email and instant messenging and cell phones.... we have become a world of instant communication!!

But I still like postcards... just call me old fashioned.

I like receiving them, just not writing them - there's always too much to write on one little piece of card! I start getting overenthusiastic and run out of space!! Bigger postcards - its the next big thing Im sure of it!! xxx

YUP! your right! IMMMM BBBAAAAACCCKKKK! my holdiay was ok, but there wasn't much to do, apart from swim!! i did have a good time though! i did my usual BB hunt, and guess what!!! i found a pair of BB socks in a supermarket there! of coarse i bought them!!
