I don't think I'll ever out grow camping. I love it. My grandmother on my dads side still goes camping from time to time. Only she sleep in a camper. We use tents and sleep on the ground. I have just about all our camping gear ready to go.

i think camping is really fun cause u get to exsperience new things and meet new people when i went to northbay camp i had the best time of my life we learned about voltures we went canoeing and hiking,swimming we learned about the different wetland s and i went on the ziplin.........................baybay grand daughter millbabyboop

Camping is great in my opinion. We are going to an island near the campsite. It is free of cost to camp there. Our church will be the only ones there the week that we are going.

If there is any one on here that would pray about a girl going camping with us that her guardians will let her go with us. She has some things that she is going through and I think it would benefit her to get away from the situation that she is in. Our Pastor also thinks this is good idea for her. All the grown ups going said they would help keep an eye on her. She is 15 years old. She also helps me in the Kids Sunday School Class. I am hoping and praying that she gets to go with us.

I remember those days aswell, we used to go bike rallying, staying in the tents, tramping through the mud and dodging the fling bugs, that tried to get in the tent b4 you...lol...Those were the days...Such fun ;)

Yes, I definitely think you have to be a young person to really enjoy camping.. unless of course you are in a wonderful motorhome!!

Camping is as fun as you make it for yourself. I can remember when I would have to go camping with my parents even when I didn't want to. I would have rather stayed home with my Grandma. Now I fully enjoy camping.

You are right Brenda... any event or activity is as pleasurable or enjoyable as we want to make it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not putting down camping. BBB I wasn't thinking you were putting camping down. Everyone has there own favorite activity/hobby that they like doing. Camping is'nt for everyone. I'm sure when I get older I will prefer to have a motorhome. They are nice. But for know I will stick with the tent and the big outdoors.

Have you got to do much riding lately? We are taking the bike out next weekend.

I haven't ridden in a couple of weeks... just too much stuff going on right now. My husband is getting his older Harley fixed and ready to ride today. He has two Harleys. I will probably ride next weekend when life settles down some!! Just been too busy with birthdays and BBQ's etc.

I really enjoy the fall too... college football starts and the weather is still warm during the day but cooler at night and the leaves all turn colors.
