well, after reading more and really checking out this button i find information on the back of the button/pin. its 1 1/4 inches in diam, on the back are the words betty boop 5, 1910 or 20 (hard to tell) king features syndicate, inc. lisa frank inc., tucson, az 85719. she's in a red dress with a red and white "uncle sam" hat hoope earrings and bracelets on both wrists. blue background with white stars, vote for betty is in yellow letters, outlined in black. hope this helps you to help me!! my pic is too many kbs for upload, sorry.

Hi,
Lisa Frank is an artist who did a series of Betty Boop pins in 1979 (black/white) and then another series in color in 1980. This pin is part of that second series. The label is "BB5". These were reprinted again in the mid-1980s, some had ©KFS added to the front. Lisa Frank also did a series of stickers, some that matched the pins.

These are nice to find today, not particularly valuable, just good collector's pieces.

:cool:thanks so much! i was going blind searching for anything to date this pin. the third number was so hard to decipher, even w/ magnifying glass. appreciate your help!

Interesting, Hakes Americana just sold one of these in their last auction! It went for $60. You never know. .. .
