I know it is just because I am first to post my score, but I just set a new world record for Psychedelic Blocks with a modest score of 7840.
I feel like Home Run Baker or Sammy Sosa.
I can compare to Home Run Baker because he had the Major League Baseball Record for Home Runs with 12.
Of course we all know that that record was broken by Babe Ruth.
We all know that Babe Ruth's record was broken by Roger Maris with 61. We also remember when Mark McGwire hit his 62nd HR to break the Roger Maris record. He ended up with 70 HRs.
The current record is 73 by Barry Bonds.
Not everybody remembers where they were when Sammy Sosa broke the record. Sammy was right behind Mark McGwire for most of the season in 1978. After setting the record Mark had a bit of a slump ( for him ) Sammy caught him and for forty-five minutes held the record. Sammy was at one point the record holder with 66 dingers. Mark tied the record with his 66th HR in his next At Bat forty five minutes later. Sammy did not hit another HR that year while Mark ended up with 70.

These high scores have been rare. Most of them do not get to the fifth level where you see the "heart". I have been spending too much time at Psychedelic Blocks. I am surprised that nobody has posted a higher score yet.

lol, and thats hard to beat my low score!! The blocks game is quite easy, u just click on the blocks that are connected (eg. a group of blues, a group of reds etc.)

Thanks for the encouragement. I spend far too much time playing the Psychedelic Blocks.
I have decided to post my score for Match Blocks. It is alot like the old TV show Concentration ( I suppose I am admitting that I am old. ) When you have paired off each charachter with it's matching charachter you are done and get to see the featured art work.
I just finished the puzzle in 37 tries. This is not my high score but I had to put something up for everyone to shoot for.
The hidden art work was Stella Stork.

I solved the Match Blocks game in 34 tries,
the hidden art work was Betty - Pudgy and Koko in a speeding car. ( Actually I do not know the speed limit. )

The hidden art work revealed Betty sitting on top of Harry the Horse. Bimbo and Koko were walking the horse ( not going too fast ) I noticed that the Beatles mentioned Harry the Horse in the song Mr Kite from the Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band album.

Just a note that I tied my own record of Match Blocks set on Dec 18th. I finished the puzzle in 33 moves.
The hidden art work was Harold Hippo.
I never try the Match Blocks more than once a day because I may remember where Molly Mule was in the first game and then say during game two.... did I see Molly in the corner or was that just in the first game.

I ended up with 33 again. This is the fourth time. One of these days I will beat 33.
I had not been on as much recently Biker Betty Boop but I am posting more often now.
See you all on the Betty Boop dot com anniversary tomorrow. Oh by the way, it is also the anniversary of Super Bowl XXXVI where the Patriots beat the Rams in New Orleans two years ago.

I really wasn't that impressed with the half time show, you can tell they were lip synking to the music except for KID ROCK now he's cool, but I'm biased I am A fan of his. I liked Aerosmith and Toby Keith alot better. :D

Do not let Tom Brady hear you say that he is from Michigan State. He is a Michigan Wolverine. The Spartans and the Wolverines are arch enemies.
Brady has not always been a star QB. He was not recruited to play at the big colleges in California. He ended up at Michigan where he was at first a back up to Brian Griese ( son of Bob Griese, Brian played with the Denver Broncos and is now with the Miami Dolphins ) After Griese graduated Brady was the starter but had to share the QB position with Drew Henson.
Henson did not take a direct route to the NFL. He signed with the NY Yankees. He spent most of his time in the minors but played five games with the pinstripes. He and the Yankees tore up the remainder of the contract as he now plans to go to the NFL. His rights are owned by the Houston Texans but he is expected to be traded as the Texans are pleased with David Carr.
During his rookie season Brady used to try to impress the women by telling them he was a QB with the Patriots. They all knew that Drew Bledsoe was the QB with the Patriots and laughed at him. (Third String QB's are not household names.) These women are probably kicking themselves now.

Hi Biker Betty Boop;
Mike Vrabel of the Patriots who had a great season, is a Buckeye from Ohio State, just like you.
Mike started his NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers on their special teams but could not crack their starting lineup.
He has been great with the Patriots. He is a linebacker and led the Patriots is sacks. He broke his arm early in the season but was able to come back after missing just a few games and led the team in sacks.
In the Super Bowl he had a great game with one sack, he forced a fumble ( which was recovered by Richard Seymour and led to a Patriots TD ) and was put in the lineup as a tight end in order to give the Pats an extra blocker when they were near the goal line. He was open and Tom Brady hit him for a Patriots Touch Down.

I just tried Bimbo's Cartoon Mayhem for the first time. At first I thought it was identical to Word Search. While I was searching for movie titles the screen went black. The letters on the board all shifted. It was maddening when I was in the process of circling a title and then have the screen go black and have to look all over for it again.
My high score won't last long.

Hi 10eke;
My high score was 12:27 with 10 grid changes - That matched your 10 grid changes at the time so it was possible that I held the record for a short while since your time was not listed.
Of course that record ( ? ) has been smashed to bits but I will keep trying to better my personal best.
The more you play the better your score should be since the names of the movies do not switch from game to game and you do not have to refer to the list of movies that you are searching for.

It has been over a year since anyone has replied to this thread so I know that not everyone has been playing the games.
My previous record for Psychedelic Blocks was 9820 which was set on November 3rd 2003. It has been over Sixteen months since then. Yesterday I came quite close to breaking it. Today it happened.
10090 - A five figure score for the first time.
Lets go people. Start playing Match Blocks - Psyedelic Blocks and Bimbo's Cartoon Mayhem and see if you can break a record, or at least set a new personal best.

It took me over a year to beat my previous high score on psychedelic Blocks (also called color blocks) The trick is to get rid of all the blocks, then your penalty will go back to zero. I think that now that I mentioned my score everyone will try to beat me.
Match Blocks is like the old tv show concentration. When you remember where the two matching pieces are they come off the board and artwork is exposed. I hold the record for that but I think now that we are talking about this games more people will practice this.
I am sure you have all played word search in magazines and books. You will see the titles of Betty Boop films - verticle - horizontal - reverse and diagonal. The titles do not change from game to game so the more you play the better you will get as you will not have to refer back to the list.
Bimbo's Cartoon Mayhem is just like Word Search with one exception. After a minute or two. The grid changes. The titles that you have already found all count but the remaining words all move. You will be forced to start all over again searching the board. It is especially maddening if you have found a title and are in the process of circling it when the board changes and you have to find this title all over again. 10eke is the champ at this. We have not seen you in awhile 10eke. We Miss you.
