There is something going on with my older brother.He got back form Texis and he has been verry nice to me.He is never this nice unless he wants money and I know thats not what he wants becase I am broke.When he called he asked how I was he usly never cares.

i have two younger brothers and although they get on my nervs a lot of the time i still love them to bits, it kinda sux not having any sisters dough, i really wuda loved to be the middle sister that would of been the greatest!!!! but having 2 brothers is still just as great and i wouldnt swap it 4 the world!

Yes, I know what it's like to be in a big family. I am the oldest of six. I have no children myself, but I have 3 nieces, 2 nephews, 2 great nephews, and a great niece. My siblings and I are all different too. Makes life very interesting. All but one nephew of the above children are from my sister Mary. She is a few years younger than I am, but she and 2 of her daughters started out very young. My sister, even after 4 children, is still beautiful with a great figure. I don't know how she does it... The prettiest grandma I ever saw!!!:D

Well, Kayla, just give your brother love, but keep your purse away! He's old enough to make his own way in life and make his own money! So give him lots of hugs!:D

Yes, Booper, it's natural. I come from a family of six kids, and believe me, I know! Just try not to get into fistfights...they can hurt! I remember once when my brother and I were arguing he swung at me and gave me a fat lip. But that just made me mad and I socked him back...right in the nose, and gave him a bloody nose! I do not recommend that anyone try this at home to settle arguments. (We were still pretty young then.)
Anyway, we all love each other to pieces and when we all get together it's always a full house!:)

When I was little my older sister used to grab me at the back of my neck and make me lick the wall! Sounds weird, but that was her weapon. She was always alot stronger than me being 4 years older so I could never stand up for myself. One day I just had enough so I turned around and slapped her really hard accross the face - the shock in her face was unforgettable. I don;'t think she could quite believe that I had finally gained some strength!! She knocked me out after that (literally) but didn't beat me up quite as often from then on.
We get on so well now - you'd never know how horrible we were to each other when we were younger!

Yes, that seems to be a part of growing up. But one day you eventually outgrow it. Oh, sometimes I still fight with my brothers and sisters, but it's mostly verbal and about attitude. I am currently having a tiff with my baby sister and we have each other blocked on our computers! It's kind of funny. Oh, the wonders of the technological age!!!!

The thing with fighting with siblings is that you know that deep down you don't mean any of it, and that you do really love each other even if it doesn't seem like it at the time! Despite all the bullying my sister did to me, I can't imagine growing up without her. We had to stand by each other when our parents divorced, and if I had had to go through that alone at the age of 12, I don't know how I would have coped.
So a message to all people who fight with their siblings - just remember that you might need them for something one day, and then you'll regret ever saying that you hate them, or something equally mean!

I have one brother we use to get into to when we were younger. Now that we are older we are close and have each other backs just like family's should.

Hi BikerBettyBoop! Yes, and I am the oldest of the six. I think that this is why I am such a strong woman and I'm a "charecter". My dad was always out at sea and he was rarely around, my poor mother! I really don't know how she did it! But as I helped my mother cope with such a large family on her own, I learned a lot of skills and learned that you can acomplish anything you want if you try hard enough. I learned how to hit a baseball from my dad, and how to cook and sew from my mom. Later when I was in my early 20s and engines were simpler I even tuned up my '67 Camaro and replaced its carburator. It never occured to me that I couldn't do it because I was a girl. Of course, I wouldn't touch any of today's engines!

Kayla, I would like to encourage you to keep on trying! You WILL reach your goals and make your dreams come true if you study and work hard for it. And don't listen to your brother. He's probably just jealous of you because you have big goals in life and so far he hasn't. And you are right, you are more mature. Girls mature much faster than boys, it's a fact. So don't let him bug you. He'll catch up...eventually...

Yes, I am pretty handy, as I had no one to tell me I couldn't do anything because I was a girl. And I think I get my handiness from my father, may he rest in peace.

I no longer work on cars anymore, they have gotten too complicated. I do intend to learn a few more skills for my new business. I want to learn how to airbrush artwork on motorcycles. I'm going to buy an airbrush set and practice. Of course, when I get it down, I'll have Betty Boop all over my own motorcycle!!!!!!

But I guess the best way to describe me, really, is that I am a jack-of-all-trades...and master of none.... yet.... But what I love best is to be able to do handy stuff like lay tile, sweat solder copper pipe when I plumb, prune trees, and work hard when I get busy, but later change into something slinky, put on the lipstick and perfume, and become a total girlie-girl. Make Betty Boop proud!

Ah yes, even us older gals can still dream dreams....

You're right , it is a little hard to lose a few pounds. Cause I would like to lose only about 5 lbs. too.(and keep it off) . You can do it, though. Have you ever tried eating smaller portions and walking almost everyday? That helped me during "Bathing suit Season". Never mind what your brother tells you. Just use that and strive to do it even more!

I would like to lose weight.My doctor always gets on to me when I dont exerce.I need to do something fun like boxing or weight lifting.I do walk alot.I like walking when I need to think.I do that a lot.I drink to much soda pop.I cant have surger but it is timping but I like my feet were they are.I did a report on my diabetes last year and I got an A+.I wish I had a twin to go to school for me but I want to go to votec.I have a test tomarrow.I need to study.

Yesterday I stubbed my little toe on my left foot on the chair doing the housework, banged my head on the rotary-line when I got the washing in, and later on, I stubbed the little toe on my right foot so I hard I thought it was broke - I HATE THIS PLANET SOMETIMES!!!!!

With regards to your brother; I lost my mom about six years ago, my dad moved away about four years ago, and I split up with my partner of 18 years last year - my brother, for all his faults, has been a rock in my life, even though we fought like cat and dog as youngsters. Without my brother, my daughter and a few very good friends, I don't think I could have coped with the things life has thrown at me. With brothers, you have to remember that men are not as strong (mentally) as women, and give them a little leeway. Don't be a pushover, let him know you will always be there, but he has to help himself too. It works with me and my brother. Hope this helps, but remember, this is just my experience, not text-book instruction.

No one was the bathroom.Those bunk bed a danges we had the mattress colapets on me and my cousen when we were kids no one was hert sericly but we were bruse and my cousen was stuck between the rail and the mattress.That made me scared to get bunk beds for my kid when I have them.I run in to walls a lot.I was watching this guy and ran into a wall.He loughed at me but we are good friends so it dose not barther me.

As much as I fight with my brother and my sissters.I could not live without them.I know I am pretty lucky becuse somepeople dont have familys and know what love feels like.

Everyone grows out of it in the end. My sister and I used to really beat each oher up (well, rather she used to beat me up and I used to stand there and take it!) But we never fight anymore - probably helps that we live 100 miles away from each other, and we're both a little more grown up.....kinda!

Yes I am a diabetic.No I did not go to the doctor well I did for a retin check up.I am butter now.I do get sick a lot and it is hard to get well sometime.I alway bounce back sooner or later.We did not have classes to day we had flotes we built for home coming.So I got a hornet tatoto fake.Then my friend got this hair spay that is green we put in my hair.My mom hopes it dose not come out but it sould.

Dose your brother ever go in to a searser I do when my blood is low.I almost went in to one the other day when they kept me from school.I dont remaber how got to the kitchen table.I kind of just blank out.I geuss I was a wake but I was not there.I slept the hole day becouse I get tired.

I had this stange dream about glitter and when I waked up I had glitter all over me. Is that strange or what?

I once died when I was in a seizure right in my parents hands but my dad is a volintar fire fighter and he knows cpr.That was along time ago.I dont realinse I am in a seizure. Sometimes this sounds strange but it like I am watching my self.Most af the time I know what I do but not always.

I had two dreams and the first one was about the glitter and I anded up covered in glitter.Then I had a dream about riding a horse and I have this horse braselet on my dresser around a old horse like staue my mom gave me.When I work up the braselet was right beside me and when I asked my family they said they did not go in to my room.It freaked me out.I still find glitter on me this morning when I woke up after I washed it off.I am scarred to go to sleep.I dont know about you but I belive dream mean something but theas dream are scaring me.

People are always afraid of things they don't understand.... I know that sometimes your diabetes does things to you that frighten you. Just remember....mind over matter....
The mind is an amazing thing sometimes.... it is the best tool for healing the body. Just visualize yourself in a healthy body. Keep doing it and you will get well.
I worked with an older woman who was out sick for several months with heart problems and complications with her diabetes. She was really bad off, very weak, no energy, couldn't do anything. We were worried that she wouldn't make it, she was that bad. Her doctor was encouraging her to get onto permanent disability. But she has a strong spirit and meditated and visualized her heart getting better and her body getting well. No one thought she'd be returning to work. But she did. She is not allowed to work as many hours as she used to, but she still came back and worked and still made a lot of sales. She amazed me. She confided in me that she did the viualization thing and defied her disease. I was very impressed.
Also just think about that tiger guy Roy of Seinfield and Roy who got mauled by the tiger. He was hurt so bad that the doctors said that any ordinary person would have died. But he was a fighter and fought to live. And he did. I haven't heard anything lately about him, so I am assuming that he is still alive and fighting to recover. He is an amazing person too.

I'm not a dream interpretor, but that sounds to me like your subconscious self trying to overcome a fear that your conscious self isn't ready to face. Or it could have nothing to do with ice, and could be something to do with a worry you might have that youre trying to solve.

Kayla, I'm an only child and now 47 years old. Never had any brothers or sisters, but had lots of cousins. There were 3 of them that lived with us from time to time. We fought like we were brother and sister, but it still wasn't the same. I have alway's wanted to have a sibling until I became about 15 or so. My parents also did have a son a year after they had me, but he died when he was 3 day's old. He drown in his own fluid. And they never tried again after that. Can't say I blame them. However when I married I had 3 children. I didn't want them to feel the way I did. I have 3 children of my own, 1 boy and 2 girls. Joe is 28, Angel is 26 and Bonnie is 25. I also raised my husbands children 1 step son Dan is 24 and 1 step daughter Maretta is 23.
Their father pasted away in 1999, and they are very close to my children. They all feel like biological brothers and sisters. It's a blessing to me. They have more then I ever had. They have each other. And now I have 4 beautiful Grandson's from 7, 5,4, and one 2 months old. :D ;)

I do know I am very lucky to have my brother and both my sisters sometimes I miss not having my brother that pass a way.I loss but he is alot butter were he is.The doctor said he would of been a vegable so others proberly would of made fun of him if he lived.I would not of let them make fun of him. I am the opposite of you. I am the oldest of 6 kids and I have none of my own. Neither of my exes had kids, nor does my fiance. The man I dated before I met Don had three children 21, 14, and 7. I found myself learning about parenting at a late age and learning to be a stepmom. But it didn't work out. So now I'm back to no kids. It takes quite a person to take on other people's children - especially if they're trouble makers like my step sisters. Well, it wouldn't have been appropriate to stay in touch. I did keep in contact with the 15 year old for a while. But I think her dad told her not to email me after a while and suddenly all contact stopped.
I was the one who broke things off with her dad. I was the influence of stability in their lives because both of their parents were very much into the night life. It got to the point where my ex boyfriend was getting just way too much into the bar scene and I think that he couldn't be trusted. At the same time he wanted me to sell off my house and move in with him into his crumby rental. He was starting to bug me about it and I felt that it was totally unfair...he wanted to be free and swinging yet keep me tied to him...and he wanted help with the rent. I loved him, but it was very unhealthy for me, so I made the tough decision, which was to leave, the right one. Anyway, his daughter missed me and kept asking me when I'd be coming back. Finally I think she realized that I wasn't. I miss her.

I'm sorry that you had such a hard time with your tests. I think you were just stressin'. Sounds like you knew the answers but were under too much pressure. Being sick can really mess up your focus and make things harder. I'm in commission sales, and when I'm sick it's very hard for me to make sales. After I've been on vacation, it's also hard at first to get into the swing of things. But you just have to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and put it all behind you. Forget about the past now, just focus on what you are doing now and the future. Keep on plugging away and you will make it! I believe in you!!! :D

Thank goodness that neither of you were injured. My son was hit by a car once and it was a horrible experience for him and for me!! He still has scars on his head from that one! What is everyone doing for Christmas.

I don't know what the english word is, but I'll try to explain. What we are going to do, is heat a marble plate (or something like it) and put tiny little pans on it. So that's how we are going to cook our diner that evening. It'll take a whole evening to eat that way! And after that, we are opening our presents.

Wow! Do you do that every year? It makes so much more sense to savour the food. It takes so long to prepare and cook, and then it's gone in minutes!
We used to open our presents as soon as we woke up when we were little but now we just open one when we wake up and then open the rest when we've been to church. Makes the morning last longer, otherwise its all over too fast! XX

We've done that for some years now. But the whole house smells like food for days after x-mas! Last year we did a game to open our presents, like, everybody picks up a piece of paper, one at a time and it says things like 'the person on your right can open a present' or on the left, or 'the person on your left can't open a present this round' and so on. That's a way to spend an evening of opening gifts too!

My brother and I used to be Bestfriends till he got his girlfriend who is changing him in so many ways!!!! He is getting taken away from his friends and me as well we barley talk anymore:(

My brothers girlfriend is like that but she is now trying to be part of the family calling my parents mom and dad.It make me so mad.I told her she is not my partants kid then I get yelled at.I cant stand her but I have to have her in my life because she is the mother of my brothers kid.I just cant wait to move a way.

Yes it is lots of fun to be a aunt.I act just like a kid with them.My brother has three one boy two girls and my older sister has two boys.They are alot of trouble.One of my nephew likes to say I told him something whin ever he get into trouble.They are the best.


To bad I could not put my brothers girlfriend up for sale but then I would get in to alot of trouble.I am glad she is not my sister or any thang.She is always taking stuff that is not hers.She is lazy.I know I could be lazy but her it worst.She will set and not get up all day long.

I did bad on a test again.I made it up verbaly.I got it up to a B.I am geting sick of my health class.I dont thank I want to be a nurse any more.What I want to do I dont know.Maby I need to just set down and thank about it.How did you all deside what you want to do.

my brothers girlfriend is cool! he's never at home, which i suppose is a good thing because other wise he winds everyone up! she's really buckled him down! hes cut down on alcohol and even started to go to the gym!!

My brothers ex was like that she use to get on to him when he says something to me or my yunger sister that is not right.I know she cheated on him and mest it up but I liked her.I still do.This one he has now will he could do a lot better but since he has kids with her he wont brake up with her.The thang I hate the most whin there together they fight in front of the kids and that is not right.The kids hear them call each other names and the kids get in to trouble when they say thouse names.

when they stayed with us for awile.All we were good for was baby sitting and for her to still from us.If you know me I say what I thank so when I told them to stay out of my room if they dont ask I got into a big fight with my every one.Then when I went to say sorry for saying it so mean she just did not let me exsplane why I did it.Then ones when I was baby siting I gave my nephew some water in sted of milk will she got mad and said he was alergic.I said you cant be becouse your body is made of water.Then she said she was his mother and I said that she sould spine time with him in stead of going with her friend every night.Then becouse I wanted to hit her and I dont like to fight I went to clean my room to keep my hands moving.Did not take long.So I wote in my diary.

Well I have gave my self a big challeng I have to be nice to my brothers girlfriend for the next mounth.It is hard but I am trying.I might have a babysitting job watching my brothers kids after school.So I dont have to worry about a job right now or money.I need the money and the time for my home work.Witch by the way I thank I pass my test the other day.

Isn't it kind of funny how protective we can be of our siblings? I know when my sister first started dating her husband I just did not like him I thought she could do better and date someone more her age he was about 28 and she was only 20 and still in college. But over time I learned to tolerate him, because she really loves him (although I wonder at times). I still think she could do better but they both seem very happy especially now that they had A child. I just want nothing but the best for my little sister and for her to be happy. I think I will alway's be protective of her and now I have A niece to be protective of too.:D

You can scream and shout and think you hate your siblings, but when it comes down to it, you're the first one there if they're in trouble or need protecting! Sometimes by older sister forgets that I'm nearly 21 and she grabs my hand when we're crossing the road! It makes me laugh - she says she still thinks I'm 9! And boyfriends......the usual 'don't let him force you into anything' speech every time! But it's good to know that she cares! :D x

No babysiting yet soon.That nice thang to people is harder then I thought.My brothers girlfriend want to get her GED and go to the same jonior collage I am going to.She plans to go for four year.Ok I was so excided to go to gane indedepandent and get away from my small town.Well She want to go to.There is no way she can go at night and so she will go in the morning with me. This is mest up.I cant get away from her.She like a night mare that wont end.She is like that clown in your dream you cant stand and you cant get away from who keep follow you like this ugly pup.

i know how you feel Kayla! i have a friend like that and she copies off me and my other friends and doesn't let us do our own thing. she's always saying 'are you my friend?' and i get's annoying when people repeat thing's isn't it! i'm sure she'll let you have some slack and you will probably never her see he rin the summer because you might be in differen tclasses! you neverknow! :)

I have always worked hard at school and never switch class becouse they are hard or I dont like them. Last year I did jobshadowing and I did not like the job becouse they gave me dish washing and they did not act nice to me but I did not quite.

Kayla.. it sounds like you will only have to worry about her for maybe a week or two at college if she doesn't stick to things like you do.. then that means you can show her up by staying in college and studying hard and graduating and being able to hold your head up high because you succeeded where she failed.

Look at it from the point of view that you would be accomplishing a great achievement when you graduate from college and then you could be very, very proud of yourself!

Yes, just focus on yourself and your own goals. A good education will be your ticket to a new and better life.:D

Anyway, even if she doesn't drop out right away, college campuses are HUGE and as long as you take courses in different subjects than her you may end up being in different buildings and may never run into her at all! When you are in college you need to make special arrangements with your friends to meet them because campuses are usually so large and spread out and many times you have to make special meeting places and times!:D

So just do your own thing and it will all turn out o.k.

Thank you.The collage is not that big and I dont know if any of my friends are going.That would be so much easer having somone I like there.Most my friends are older or younger so there not in the same grade.Most of my friends went to there own collage.My 3 year old nephew said he wanted to go with me and be my friend.He is my babe.
