My two year old neice who I swear is the spitting image of Betty...Strangers come up to her and actually ask if her name is Betty, but I digress anyways she is a huge betty boop fan she can spot Betty merchandise a mile away and will not let go of it until she is assured that she will be going home with it. To make it even more adorable she will actually sing "I want to be loved by you...." and end it by saying boop boop de boop. I wish I was joking but to be perfectly honest she does it so frequently that her step-father actually recorded it and is using it as his cell phone ring tone. I guess you never know how much impact Miss Boop has until you see a two year old singing a song that is associated with (not that Betty sang it as it was a silent movie star who did I think) the wonderful Miss Betty Boop. :cool:

I know what you mean. Two of my grandchildren know I like Betty Boop and point to her and say my name. The youngest has spoted Betty in the store too and my daughter ends up getting it. Betty is every where! Last Christmas 6 or 7 of my gifts were Betty items. Can never have enough Betty.

I got a purse off of Ebay that turned out to be a child's purse.I thought of all the girls I knew but they were all alittle big for this purse,then I remembered a friend who lives in my building that has a 19 month old daughter that just started walking,and I remembered my sister at that age loved to carry her little purse everywhere so I gave the purse to Sara and according to her Mommy,Grandma and Great Grandma Sara loves her Betty Boop Purse.....They all tell her "Go get Betty" and she comes back with the purse!!!!!!! Maybe a future Booper in the making!?!?!?!:D :D :D
