What's your best Betty Boop find?

What Betty Boop item did you find and where did you buy? i.e. - In a garage sale? Found it in a basement? On sale in a store?

I always seem to find alot at flea markets. Mainly posters, the life size card boards, plush dolls, light switches, t-shirts, and jean jackets. I even brought some dolls from toys r us, but they were limited. But I mostly buy things from the internet or Danbury Mint like my figurines, throw, trash can, clock, rug, whole bathroom, lamp (comes up for air), pillows, computer accessaries, calendar with figurines, and finally my cell phone. Ross sales tin cans and target sales car things. Sorry I just love Betty Boop. I have to buy everything I see. Alot of people cannot imagine me being such a fan since I'm only 19 years old, many people my age don't even know her. :D

At a local store in the mall called "Dapy's" they have a nice amount of Betty Boop items. I actually found this Betty Boop Celestial cookie jar for less than half the price. It was on clearance.
Then on Ebay, I found the BB Celestial Lamp for less than half the price...a total steal. I love buying Betty and I love buying Betty on sale!!!

I am going to St.Louis Mo this saturday to Union Station Mall and they have A Dapy store also and nice selction of Betty stuff so I'm sure I will find something and I'm also going to a flea market. I going to shopt till I drop. "BOO BOOP BEE DOO"

The best item I've found about BB is not in the value of it but in the way and where I found it ! This is the story :
Yesterday I was doing shoping in a store called NOZ . In this shop you can find everything you want at a very low price because all items come from closed shops or unsold items . I was looking for baby food and behind me was a shelf on which one were cosmetic underwears (!) and among all these items was hidden a video tape about you guess who ???????
a french version of the best of BB !!!!!!! I am not generally very lucky but this time I could'nt believe my eyes !!!!!!

My best Betty Boop find was a t-shirt with Betty Boop sitting on a motorcycle. I was at a casino gift shop in Las Vegas in the summer of 1994 when I found it! I was already a Betty Boop fan but seeing her on the motorcycle just opened a whole new world of collecting for me. I collect everything... bath, kitchen, clothes, figurines and especially everything with her on the motorcycle. My oldest "find" is actually a doll that my mother hand made for me from a Betty Boop pattern many years ago (at least 20!). She has a red satin skirt, black heels and even has dangling metal earrings with sequins for her eyes. I will take a picture of her and post it here for you to see. I really have treasured that doll through the years. She is truly one of a kind!

I've just come back from shopping and guess what ? I saw some new items in that Soho shop : BB sitting on the moon made of material and the man told me he would sold out at - 20 and30% off in april every items shown in his front shop he even asked me if He could put some away for me he just made me very depressed because I wanted him to put all items for me !!!!!!!!
How can I choose ?

It is always a hard decision to try and decide what to buy... I am like you, I want everything but am not rich enough to buy it all.

I don't know what to tell you about which items to have the shop keeper set aside and hold for you.

You will just have to follow your heart and pocketbook and decide what you want the most and go with that.

my best best betty boop find was one on ebay, it was a danbury mint betty boop car, i never ever fot id ever be able to get it coz its soooo sooooo rare, and always goes for more den $100 if it ever does come on auction, but somehow by fluke i managed to get it for $15, on ebay bargain or what!!!!!!!!
