Hi Wolfmother..... this thread made me smile to myself... it's been 100 years since I've been in a situation like this.. LOL... not since high school... so I'm not sure how relevant my advice is going to be.....

But I remember the advice I gave to my son when he had a similar incident in his life.... I just told him to be flattered that the other girl liked him (even though he wasn't crazy about her at the time) and I suggested that he be nice to the other girl because things do change in our lives and there may be a time when he would come to like this other girl.

And about the girl that didn't like him but he was chasing after her? Well I told him to be careful about the things that he wished for because perhaps it wasn't meant to be between him and her.

I suggested that he give the other girl an opportunity to know her better and if the girl that he was interested in didn't give him the time of day cause she was too stuck on herself to get to know him then he should give up pursuing her cause it was probably just a waste of time.

I've found in my life that relationships are a mutual thing. Chasing after someone who doesn't care about me was always a waste of time. The best relationships are when two people like each other and are friends first.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I would love to have a relationship with Brad Pitt but I'm realistic enough to know that will never happen in my lifetime so instead I am grateful for the wonderful man in my life who is my best friend and my husband too!!

damn! I had the same problem some years ago...
give the other girl an opportunity to know you and if they're roses will bloom. If he isn't interested don't demoralize yourself, another guy will arrive!

yeah i d thanx 4 asking we watched night at the museum it was kinda funny and i met the boy who i use to like there. but i got over him coz he was to bad!! but i think i li8ke this otherboy coz i get butterflies when he walks bye!! <3

here in Italy we haven't the drive in......I would like to try it

I heard that Night At The Museum is funny.. haven't seen it.... we don't have any more drive in movie theaters here anymore.
