I just watched the Guardian the other night, that was an excellent movie!!

I am now looking forward to watching Ghost Rider and Wild Hogs, well, when they come out in DVD. Not fond of the Theater anymore. Those who know me, know I LOVE motorcycles AND Boop. But OMG Nicolas Cage, Tim Allen, and JOHN TRAVOLTA (hottie) on motorcycles. Man, After watching that, I can die and go to heaven a VERY happy woman!!! LOL!!!!

If anyone's seen either, do tell if you liked or disliked it. Also share any other good movies to watch. Thanks, qtrmoon

I did watch RED EYE last weekend....that was a pretty good movie. Keeps you on the edge of your seat.

LOL!! Yea, I know. But did you know Johnny's first vehicle WAS a bike! In an interview he said they really did like 90% of the riding. It really does look like it IS a really funny movie though.

We don't go to the movies here cause it's just too far to get to the nearest theater... so we buy a lot of movies on DVD and watch them during the winter when the weather isn't so great. Or else we read books....

This is the time of the year when mostly only 'B' movies are released. As young people will obviously watch just about anything, the studios casn make money. Most (not all) serious (MEMORABLE) films are released towards the end of the year to better compete for Golden Globes, Oscars etc.

That's an easy one. All the awards are given out for the year in the beginning of the following year. And, the distributers want their movies FRESH in the voters minds. A win means a lot of extra money.

A Mighty Heart is a well done very serious movie. It is well acted. It is not 'light' silly stuff like 95% of the new movies.

It takes place in the days immediately before and thru the capture then murder of Daniel Pearl. It shows the work of trying to get him released and the emotions of the people involved. It is not a light movie.
