:mad: I am a member of many sims forums but the moderators are always yelling at me because of spelling, putting something in the wrong place, and so forth... Sorry wanted to get that off my chest... I ran into at least two places so far... I still never get my questions answered...

So I just want to say thank you for being respectful towards me. It has really helped and I am so pleased with the moderators for having patients :) :D

I'm glad that you are becoming a more frequent visitor to the forum.

Sometimes we get members who join and visit a few times and then they disappear.

Hang in there and in no time at all you'll be an old vet like me and many of the rest of us!!

We do have a lot of fun here and it's because of the special bond that exists between the members here.. we are a close knit family as you're finding out!!

Personally, I am very proud to be part of this forum community... it's a huge part of my life!!

I've been through some ups and downs and it's sure been nice to know that my family here has supported me every step of the way!!

You should post some pics of your Harley here!! You're my kind of gal!! You and me and LivingBooper sure have a special bond being motorcycle enthusiasts!! As everyone knows.... we ride our own bikes!!!!!

Thanks BBB! I appreciate that. I don't know if we are going or not this time, probably not. Too many issues with my husband's job and vacation time. We voted more towards a vacation in our motorhome to the florida keys sometime in April to fish instead. We go to Biker get-togethers here at Beef O'Brady's for chicken wings or Zephyrhills bike night which is pretty big with a band and vendors. We get together with another couple sometimes and just ride for the heck of just ridin'. But, we'd love to ride with you one of these days. Who knows maybe one of those Daytona bike weeks, I think it's beginning of March this time. BUT, there will be more.

My hubby used to ride, bad knees now. So no more 2 wheels. We are going to get a trike sometime in the near future. It will probably be custom made since he's a pretty tall guy and I'm not spring chicken, bad knees and back here.

Oh yeah, there will be pics...when we get it. It will probably be a couple more years. Right now we're concentrating on getting our new house put on the property. We have got to get my hubby some help there in the orchard. Preferably the forman living on the property. So we're really hoping to have the house in by the end of the year. Then maybe next year we can concentrate on getting us a trike.

My husband and I usually go to the Laughlin River Run in April.. I've been trying to get LivingBooper to come and go with us for years now!

There are a few other lady riders here on the forum... though Living B and I (and now you!!) are about the most active of the riders here on the forum. We'll be glad to have you in our club!!

It is always amazing how many vendors there are at these events!

I don't usually go as a vendor myself.... too much work! BUT I did meet Living Booper at a motorcycle rally in Prescott in 2004 when I was a vendor!!

Yeah, I began the "bike thing" back when I was about 16 (oh my, was that a long time ago). But I love Boop too. Biker Boop is my favorite, I'll have to admit... But I love them all. I don't know about all of you, but the only one I haven't fallen head-over-heels about is the baby boop. I don't know why??? Really... I am just not that into that boop. Oh, hey, have any of you seen or heard of Mary Osmand's new baby boop dolls. For those who really like her.... they are kinda cute.

From what I hear Daytona is THE event of the year.
Some day! Some Day! I live on the west coast so to attend that event and ride I will probably have to ship my bike out there and back like many people have to do.

It's all about the timing this year regarding the Laughlin River Run.

It will have to be when I am between jobs and if Jack is still not working yet. And then there is the puppy.... I would need to find someone that I truly trust to petsit....

I will get vacation time with my new employer (haven't started there yet) so perhaps next year will be more do-able....

But who knows... if things line up right perhaps we can go this year....;)

Hi Moon... As you already know Miss Biker Betty is also my favorite image! But I also like her as a chef and her bathtub image is perfect for my bathrooms!!

I used to collect her in every image (being able to buy her at wholesale prices really helps... ;) but I started running out of room and a year ago, I decided to thin out my collection.

I sold everything that wasn't either Biker or Singing related (I also like her singing with the microphone... so that's become my newest addiction! LOL)

I did keep all the Betty Boop items that I've received as a gift cause I couldn't bear to part with those because they have special meaning and of course I kept the really old items too.

And of course I have tons of BB shirts, pj's, socks, jackets, purses, etc. in every image!!

When someone sees me they know I'm a Betty Boop fan cause I've always got her with me in one form or another!!


Moon... I like the Baby Boop image but I don't collect the baby image. There are some cute purses and figurines of her as a baby... it's pretty popular actually. Young moms and mothers to be really like her right now as a baby!

BTW.. has anyone seen the Sit 4 Less commercial on tv? I thought I saw a guy drinking coffee out of a Betty Boop mug!

Has anyone else seen that too? :confused:

Hi LivingBoop! Although Daytona is not as far from me as it is for you.... when we go, I want my hubby to pull them with a u-haul trailer ($14.00). This way we can enjoy ourselves riding around there and not have to worry about weather and stuff. Motor homes are available for rent as well. Just a thought :rolleyes:.
