Bexi3, I like to buy things at auction, and I know how awful it is when you think you have something and at the last possible second someone swoops in there and takes it from you. I hate that! It's made me angry and upset too. And I don't know how I would be if I lost something as lovely as you did.... I'd be beside myself!!! (Believe me, you wouldn't want to be around me....)

Regarding the bidding at the last moment: yes, that technique does work, I've tried it. Especially on something I really wanted. I hate losing my prize in the end. Once I got in a bidding war with someone over a ring. Everytime one of us outbid the other, the time was extended another 10 minutes. It took forever to end that auction. I developed a technique to bid as soon as the other person did it....I was prepared with the bid, finger on the button.....
I did end up winning, but I think I slightly overpaid on the piece...but it was pretty and I like it anyway.....

If you selected 'Buy Now' which means you're not bidding on it, but purchasing it for the asking price, then it's yours. You should've been contacted by the seller.

There should be an email address to contact the seller through the auction. Have you tried to contact the person? The seller may have many auctions and you may just be lost in the shuffle.
Does the U.K. have PayPal?
I have a PayPal account and use this to pay for most of my auctions. You can sign up with a bank account and/or a credit card.
If not, I'm afraid you'll have to wait to make contact with the seller.

The seller is supposed to contact you in a timely manner, and is obligated to ship to you in a reasonable period of time. Check out the EBAY help center on this one. You don't want the seller to give you a bad rating because you didn't pay for it right away, so you must try to make contact if you can. If the seller is nonresponsive, then contact EBAY's customer complaint division.

Unfortunatley I don't have the facilities to post a picture of her in situe at my house, but if you scroll up this thred, there's a picture of her at the top from when she was on ebay. She's smaller than I imagined but she looks lovely on top of my television in my lounge! I'm a bit worried that my kitten will want to play with her as she thinks everything is either a toy, or food at the moment!

Well, watch your new prize until the kitten grows up... she would probably think that your new BB doll IS a toy just for her! Has your kitten jumped up on the t.v. before? If your kitten likes to jump on top of things like my cats did when they were kittens, then perhaps you could put BB in something until she's older?
I love kittens, though...they are SO fun aren't they?
