Anyone else see the Jacket Danbury Mint is selling

I just saw this Betty Boop red fleece Jacket that Danbury mint is selling. My wife is thinking of getting one. :D :eek: It has 6 poses of Betty in the back and a Betty and Pudge in the front left top with a small betty zipper pull.

Yep I've seen the jacket you're talking about. In fact I own it. It is sooooo cozy, I wear it a lot. But it's to cold right now for it here so I have it put away in the closet. My suggestion, let the wife BUY IT!!! She'll love it.

The trouble with the Danbury Mint is that they charge a high price for everything. And, they aren't very flexible on how you can pay for items...... like if 4 payments are called for.... there seems mto be no way to pay it all in just one. It ismgeared to making high priced items SEEM not so high to the unknowing buyer.

I just checked and it is only for a woman. Obviously this item is not for me..... and I doubt Marsha would want one as she wouldn't be able to wear it to work.

Thats true but the paper we got said we can make 3 payments or pay all at once so that isn't any different than most.

I get their stuff in the mail and none of them allowed for one payment when several payments were offered. NONE!

It may be because of where we live. NY has different rules concerning purchases than some states. I don't know but it did give us the option. We got the add in a magazine/flyer type paper

I get several pieces of mail a week from them. Yes, they are on that type paper. I don't recall getting the one on the jacket tho (at least not yet). As the ads are sent standard mail (BULK RATE) it can take 3 weeks to get to me. And I admit that I don't really look that closely at most of theirs. I prefer the Westland Giftware figurines. And I get those from Clubbetty.com

She's really gotten into Betty Boop Which makes me very happy.
Her other 2 favorites are lips and Hello Kitty. Personally I just can't seem to get enthusiastic about Hello Kitty lol :eek:

Hello Kitty is little cat stuff. If my scanner was working I might be able to show you. Any toy store search for hello kitty will give you results though,
it's usually pinkish in color. She saw a Hello Kitty Coffee pot ( 6 cup) on Ebay and I told her it was a waste because it was only a 6 cup lol.
If it had been a Betty Coffeemake Then I would have made up some reason to get it :D
The lips are just that lips in the form of a kiss. It isn't a trademake so to speak but her checks have them on it and a few other items she's gotten also do. Thank you for the Spelling Correction :) This way I can give her the correct address

I don't think I'd like a 14 K Gold Bobblehead. To me the only reason to buy one is for a car and that is a garunteed way to get your back window smashed :mad:
As for the Mail from Danbury I don't mind a little junk mail now and again and I usually only buy things that I can use ( or the family/family member can) and always within reason.
99 Dollars isn't really a whole lot to pay for a decent jacket if you are going to use it. I paid 78 Dollars for my daughters winter jacket and she'll only use it for this year ( she's 10 and growing fast):(

Too high for me too. I buy PJ and things when Walmart has them on sale. I've never seen any slippers but I would definately buy my wife and daughter a pair if the were economical and afforadable. Meaning they fit my meager budget:eek:

I did get a leather Betty Boop jacket for Christmas from my Aunt. It is wonderful!!! It is black with pink sleeves. THere is a huge pic of Ms.Boop on the back and kisses down the sleeves. I love it but it is so heavy!

No it isn't reversable. It is all leather and so heavy! I don't wear it very often. All though I did have it on the other day when I went out to my dad's garage to talk to him. I turned around and caught my sleeve on a nail in the wall. I almost started crying right there...lol. It is just a very small knick but it almost killed me! :o
