Your box of rocks is labeled and I'll be mailing it tonight after I get out of work. I'm sending it via the US Postal Service and the cheapest way I can, so you should probably allow about a week to get it. There are several rocks in there of various sizes. I wrapped them in bubble wrap so that hopefully they won't break up in the mail. The rock is brittle and can break apart when dropped. Keep your fingers crossed!;)

Don and I just bought a new scanner for our computer, don't know how I survived without one before now!! LOL!!
It's a good tool to have. I scan records of important things and keep them in a file in my computer. I always scan things like rebate paperwork and receipts. Of course, it is great for scanning regular photographs. I created my backround on MySpace with a collage made up of a couple of images from an old Betty Boop callendar that I scanned.

I got your photos yesterday. I was busy redoing the irrigation in my rose garden and haven't gotten them scanned yet. Your train board looks awesome! I showed them to jack and he was impressed. I will try to get them up in the next day or two. Today I'm working a 10 hour day and I'm not sure if I'll be up to doing it tonight or not... but certainly by tomorrow.

After I scanned the photos I spruced them up with my Photoshop. I was able to sharpen most of them up so you could see the detail better. When I saved the scans as JPEG it blew the pictures up larger (as pixels) than the original photographs. There is so much detail that I wanted to keep the photos to a fairly good size so we could see everything. I resized them to a good posting size. I am fussy about that....lol!:P ;)

Wow! I guess that took a lot of work. It looks great though, well worth it I suspect.

It's fun to see my rocks. I remember the day we got the rocks. I grabbed them quickly and went for the most interesting shapes. We weren't sure if we'd get in trouble or not, grabbing rocks by the side of the road at the landslide.... I am using the ones I kept in my garden in the front yard.
