ello all happy new year to you all so whos missed me lol
sorry i aint been on ere for ages been really busy as i told you a couple of months ago i was having a baby christmas which i did i had a little baby girl and i called her alice i had alice on xmas day so that was the best present i have eva had in my whole life ppl say she looks like her dad but i dont i think she looks like me lol but i have been so busy and everything else thats y i havent been on so alice is a sleep at moment and i thought i come on ere to have a quick peep and see how the bettyboop fans are doing did you all have a good one at xmas i no i did

A new baby girl named Alice!! Congratulations that is wonderful news!!!

yesterday just as I'm heading out the door for the post office, my mom calls me in hysterics, said it's an emergency for me to get over to her house fast. I asked what happened and she said she squirted nose drops in her eye and now she is blind.

So I go running over there (grabbed a bottle of Clear Eyes from my med cabinet first) and she's all bent over the sink crying and splashing water in her eye. She banged her head on the faucet and had two big red bumps on her forhead.

I sat her down and put the drops in her eyes and asked her where the nose drops were. She said she put them back in the med cabinet. So I looked for them and couldn't find it. Seems she put ear wax removal drops in her eye.. not nose drops.

She said she was better and I hugged her and headed back to my office. About 2 hours later, I get a frantic call from my sister. She's at mom's house cause mom called her saying she was blind!

Now mom's eye is swollen shut, so I called the doctor's office and they said to call poison control and/or get her to the emergency room. I explained that it is now a few hours after the initial incident. Poison control said to call 911 and get her eye flushed out by emergency personnell... well mom won't hear of that, so my sis flushed out her eye with warm water for 15 minutes and put some Clear Eye drops back into her eye and the swelling went down.

Geesh, I couldn't believe my mom did that! I told her she may as well have grabbed a bottle of bleach, hot sauce and salt and pepper and dumped that into her eyes!

So now I need to take her to an opthamologist to see how much damage she's done to her eye!

Well that's how my exciting life went yesterday late afternoon and early evening!

Took my mom to the doctor for an eye exam.. no problems from her ear drop accident but found out she has glaucoma and cataracts and she has to have surgery... yesterday she broke a tooth and now I have to take her to the dentist tomorrow.. poor mom!
