Did it hurt much to get your tattoo? I saw a gal the other day who came into my shop and she had a Biker Betty Boop tattoo on her toe! It was really small and cute!!! now that must've really hurt~!:confused:

the tatoo hurt a little, not bad. I got my license at the end of march. I can use a friend's 1200 sportster, but it is too big for
me. I have to get it lowered. So for now we just ride the dyna wide glide. I am trying to find a bike before the season is over!!
The first thing I did was to join the Betty Boop Biker Club!!!
Too cool. I also joined wow (WOMEN ON WHEEELS)

That's why I haven't gotten a tattoo... I'm a huge coward!!!

There is a chapter of Women on Wheels here in Arizona and they just had a big rally in Prescott about the middle of July... 100 women motorcycle enthusiasts rode to Jerome and met at the Prescott Resort.. it was great!!!

I had my 1200 lowered too. Had the shocks lowered and even got a Badlander seat to lower it some more. I love that bike!!!

Did you just join the Betty Boop Motorcycle Club? I'm president of the club!!! (if it's the same one I'm thinking of.. I only know of one though) Did you join in March this year? or just recently joined?

I went for a ride yesterday afternoon and encountered a big thunderstorm. I had to seek shelter from the hail... that storm came up fast!!! Guess it's that time of year when these Arizona summer storms can come up fast. When I left home, it was sunny and blue skies and within an hour I was in a big storm!!

I just found out how important it is to be ever vigilant while riding a motorcycle.

My husband and I were riding with another guy and a lady in a truck turned in front of us and the lead rider hit the truck. He was going about 55 when he hit her. He's in critical condition. His name is Frank. Please pray for him. He is a fairly young man. It was very frightening for me. Just a few more seconds and it could've been my husband or me. This accident happened at 9 in the morning and we weren't speeding and we all had our headlights on. The driver said she didn't see any of us! That's pretty scarey thought isn't it? How can you not see or hear 3 Harleys?

Please help us spread the word... tell all your friends to watch out for motorcyclists when they're driving their cars or trucks. Let's make the world a safer place for motorcycles!

I have eight tattoes but only two of them are Betty Boop one is Betty nude on a motorbike on my left top arm and the other is my own adaptation of a gothic looking Betty Boop I decided to have that one done as a memoriam to my Grandma she died last september it has her name under it she was very individual so i thought it suited. Unfortunately it is unfinished at the moment as she is quite big on my lower back and has taken two sittings It should have been finished in July but an unexpected little event has put paid to it until at least February next year .

I will try to I'll have to get my mum to scan it through hers no scan or video camera to this one yet just got married and a baby boop on the way finances are a little tight. Thankfully tattoo is all paid up but til baby boop is ready to make his/her entrance I have to wait. They say it's not advisable to have them when you're carrying.My tattoist gets very booked up as he's very good so I'll have to wait til he's got a gap. If I can I'll put some piccies up soon as she doesn't look bad as she is.She has some colour but her coat and dress need finishing.:D

I think it sums my personality up I'm a free spirit. No bindings I do things because I want to not because I feel I have to. I'm a what you see is what you get person nothing hidden nothing to hide. So thats why she's nude. My tattoos all mean something and when I decided to have her done I wanted something to symbolise what I think of me plus at that time I actually wasn't aware of any official Biker BB stuff I thought I was being unique. Little did I know. When I can get to mum's machine I'll put some pictures up but can't tell you when that'll be.Plus I'm a harley fanatic I love Harleys this year has been bliss for me .Harleys everywhere.

Thats not fair I can't even afford one. Are they customised? It's going to be a while before I can afford one. Harleys are my absolute honeys you can do so much to them. I went to a Harley Centenial at Amberley in August it was great 423 harleys in one place All shapes and sizes. Plus it was a good day out it's a working museum so there was plenty for the children to do. I would have loved to have gone to Daytona or Sturgis but It will have to wait til I win the lottery or get left something by a distant relative.that I don't know of of course. To get to one of them would be a dream come true.

Thanks for asking about our Harleys. Mine is pretty much a standard bike. It is a 100th anniversary edition which came with some chrome but it's a sporty model.

My husband's is also a 100th and he added a bunch of stuff to it.. you know how men are.. macho and stuff!!! haha! Especially mine.. he had to change the pipes and seat and added a bunch of chrome.

We joined a few thousand riders on the ride home party but we only rode as far as Flagstaff. You know Harley just celebrated their 100th birthday.

In answer to your question about the Betty Boop Motorcycle Club... it is comprised of members who want to preserve the "biker" Betty Boop image. And you do not have to own a motorcycle to be a member.

:D HI remember me the one with eight tattoos. I finally gave birth in January to a big bouncing girl weighing in at nine pound one and got my tattoo finished of gothic Betty in April. When we can we'll flash up a piccie. She looks great. And surprise! another little boopster is arriving and it's due in January again! Add to that my computer going belly up. It's been a fun time. Hope all is well with the other boopers. We have a better system so I'll be able to log on more now. When I'm not changing nappies or feeding or placating my two older boopsters who are six and seven. Have noticed an increase in Betty merchandise in the UK.

my tattoist gets them of the net he already has another idea for one for me. There again i've known my tattoist for years. There's only one tattoo of mine that wasn't done by him. My last BB one was my own design. A little imagination can go along way. If you find a design that it is not quite what you want work with it' I'm no picasso but it came out good

the one on my arm only took an hour but the one on my back took two and a half hours in three different sittings she was quite painful and we actually discovered i was pregnant when she was started not really s'posed to have tattoos when pregnant but didn't know til after. the bb on my back is heavily black so it did hurt a lot more than the smaller one. the more colour the less pain and the more fleshy the less pain if ypou have it somewhere there is not a lot of flesh the bone vibrates

BikerBB...The person that I took the ride with is a very responsible and reliable licensed cyclist. Nowhere near driving way too "crazy" as you termed it. I'm just NOT accustomed to riding anything like that. It scared me from the time I mounted...because of the normal..."Fear of the Unknown". I'm used to riding on 4 wheelers. The driver picked up a little speed here and there. Nothing near "crazy". I rather enjoyed it.
