I'm a new member

Hi everyone! As you can see, I've been a member maybe 3 days. I've been so excited about being a member here and being able to see what others have collected. I thought, Gosh, I get to chit chat with people who have the same love that I have...collecting Betty Boop Items, right! Well, my excitement has spiraled down because I have already experienced some negativity here from some people. Meaning certain threads that I posted in reply to other peoples thread, I see have just been deleted:confused: . Maybe it's something that I'm missing...or are there only certain people welcomed here on this website? Just wondering because "I" have yet to feel the love here! I made a website: http://www.geocities.com/prettyeyes206/aBBoopDiva.html to share a small portion of my collection...no response. It's just confusing when I see other people have replies like..."nice collection". Not that I need a thousand responses right away...I hope that I'm making sense here. Or is it again that I'm missing something? Please share your thoughts with me.:)
