We've made changes to make the site dynamic and provide an RSS feed. Let us know what you think about the changes!

I'm not really sure what changes you're referring to other than the forum page being the home page. Are there other features? What do you mean by an RSS feed?
Well I have to say that I really miss the home page because I thought it was great to have Pudgy and Bimbo on the home page, having characters move on the screen, along with Betty's inkwell image and the soundeffects of her kissing you every time you log on. :( Nevertheless I think this website is awesome and you've all done a wonderful job with it. I love it!!! :D ;)

Look at bottom of page -- you will see 'RSS'

It was evolving over to what the forum home page became. For the "old timers" the original forum home page was nothing but text.

Though the graphics was fanstastic on the home page, it was static. It's like watching a commercial... over... and over... and over. After awhile, members skipped the home page and went directly to the forums. Now the home page is dynamic, it changes and invites boopers to come in.

RSS is for boopers who use "readers" to keep up to date on their favorite sites. My Yahoo! is one example. Also bloggers may feed content to their sites.

I have notice since the changes there are some things that I can't do anymore. If I click on my name or another members name to look at mine or their profiles I get a "You don't have access to this page".. this also happens when I click on the "Members list" up above as well. I went to look to see who else's birthdays were on November 9th, on the calendar an mine was not even there... Spooky considering the fact it was there last year at this time... I mean I think I am still a member right.. only members get their birthdays added to the calendar list?

Hmmm maybe there is something wrong on my end or its is at that end? I have tried to look at other members profiles before now an I still got that "You don't have access to this page..

Maybe we could look in to this more.. Has any one else had these problems?

MGCHAN did an upgrade and when this took place all the personal information about members became visible. For privacy and security reasons, MGCHAN closed it off from everyone. .

But I'll repeat what I said elsewhere: He should have closed off ONLY the instant messaging info and left everything else intact. I think many of us found some of the other information useful. (and the rest didn't provide any private info... only the Instant Messaging did,)

As I've stated before, the software update required me to reset the templates, which wiped out the custom coding. Updates to the software comes out often and in fact another one was released this week, which I'll need to apply next week.

This forum is visited and used by many age groups, especially under 16 years of age. This forum is not like other forums where the member info is particularly useful, e.g. - hobbies, personal Web site, MySpace page, e-mail address, AIM, and the ability to PM each other. I know because I visit other forums and use those features. However, the protection of the members here is the number one priority, whether anyone agrees with it or not.

So, I would suggest that anyone who feels strongly about the member info make a case for it. Otherwise, the profile info to the left of your post is sufficient.

Ok !! I didn 't know about any of this now, I think we all know why, because of the fact i don't jump on very often:D

I understand about the profiles, but why can't I see mine?
BTW why am I not seeing my birthday listed on the November 9th on the calendar? That was my biggest curiousity?!?


I am sorry I aint up to speed with all the forum policy changes.

I am thrilled about the launching of the Official BB Fan Club! I just signed up and am looking forward to the great commemorative poster. What a fantastic job you boopers did to put this all together! The web page to purchase the items looks great and is so user friendly. And I love the new home page too, I see what you mean about it being more dynamic this way. It's all booping fabulous!!:D

Click on 'User CP' near the top of page.
Then in upper left click on 'Edit Avatar'.
Then pick one and save change.

So glad you like this site. You'll notice we all do. Come back often and chat.

The slow response has nothing to do with the changes. The slow response is due to the Internet or your ISP.

Change when it improves the staus quo is good. Not all change results in being positive.
This forum amongst friends never gets boring.

just thearitically speaking. if all things stay the same, we would get bored stuck in the same routine. as times changes, technology changes right along with it. some like new changes and some don't and i respect that too. in my opinion, i like the new changes. we are here to exchange point of views and let them know what we do and don't like.:) :)

i love the website and it's not boring. i just stated the if things remain the same, it gets boring to me. i just gave my honest opinion. as times change, technology improves and that's probably why they made changes on the website and asked our opinions about it..:)

I think all the changes are a good thing!! Everything needs to be improved over time and our administrator is doing a good job with improvements!!
