View Full Version : Life sure can bite at times HUH!?!?

Well things have been really really stressfull around here lately. Since my hubby is the only one that works an the only one to bring home a pay check all of our money usually goes to our house payment, of course we rent from his father.

So we are puttin our house on the market and we have to find new homes for our 3 pets. 2 dogs and an cat. It has been so stressfull, we only have one car and that does not make things any better. Hubby works 4 10 hr days and has 3 off, neverthe less that does not leave much time for him an the kids to spend together.

I have been trying to keep myself together for the kids sakes but I am near a complete dead end to losing my cool.

There are times that I feel like I am lost and I have nothing better to do than stay here at home an do ablsolutly nothing. Considering I can't go back to work, or school ATM cause of finances I can't really do much expect to look forward everyday.

I wish you all have a good day an for now I am gonna go watch a movie with the boys.

Thanks for taking the time for letting me talk to my best great only friends to vent to!! You all are the best.

Oh yeah life really bites sometimes.

Just keep your chin up and a smile on your face. And remember things always have a way of working out in the end.

Hey Lisa... sure sorry to hear you're having a difficult time.. hang in there.. it will get better.. it always does.. just have patience and the strength to know that you'll get through this. Take care of yourself and your family. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

Oh, Lisa, don't let it get you down. You will make it through all of this with flying colors. Please vent here any time.

Perhaps you can look into getting a job where you can work at home when time allows. I know people who have made some extra money doing things like stuffing envelopes for various companies. My ex-husband wanted to do that for extra dough.

I hope that you achieve success in finding homes for your pets. That has got to be very hard. Are you using petfinders.com? They are a bulletin board that regular people can use as well as adoption organizations. I found my Snow Angel that way. Some soft hearted animal lover like me will surely adopt them!

Hang in there, you'll get through it. Hopefully after the house is sold, the monthly mortgage will be a weight off your shoulders and you'll be in a better position financially.

I like Livingbooper's suggestion about Petfinders.com, it sounds like a good solution.

Good News!!

Well its not final yet but we have a buyer an the buyer just wants to buy the house an rent it to us for $300 LESS than that we were paying! Yayyy!!

An we get to keep our dogs. But I need to find my kittie a new home. He does not like Eddy very much at all..

So sad about that, but maybe when Eddy is older we can get a cat then.

Hugs to everyone who is going through a rough time right now.

My grandmother is in the hospital with pneumonia and she had a heart attack over the weekend... but she is still hanging in there!! Your thoughtful Prayers are appreciated.

Oh, Theresa I am so sorry to hear that. She has certainly been having a tough year, hasn't she? My thoughts and prayers are with her.

Thanks Lizzy for your kind thoughts and prayers. Yes, she's having a rough year... lost 2 sons and has really suffered with some health issues. The doctor is now telling us that she will not be able to go home once she leaves the hospital she'll have to go to a nursing home.. IF she can leave the hospital. But I guess we really should expect that she would have some health problems at her age. I know she wants a good quality of life and not be pitied and waited on hand and foot and confined to a bed all the time.

You are not alone. All you have to do is look at everyone else to realize that none of us is unique in having problems just in how we handle them.
