Oh My!! It's happening again.

The number (left corner of screen) counts down from like 50 something to nearly 10 before the post is posted.

I just did a few test posts and deleted it. One out of five times, it took a while to post. I'll continue to monitor it.

Neckless, it is apparently a server related problem. However I agree that it has gone on far too long because it is getting painful to post at times because it gets sooooooooo slooooooooow.

It may or may not be related to the software or server. I notice whenever I get a slow response from the site, it also happens with some of the other sites. It may be the segment of the Internet network coming from the Southeast.

I'd just posted the above and it took between 1 - 2 seconds.

well at the moment it is going well for me too but 10 min ago it wasn't. It varies radically from normal to extremely slow.... back and forth.

I would suggest everyone use a clock/watch with a second hand to time how long the response is. It took .32 sec to display new posts.

Note: It took about 1.5 sec to post this.

I've had some problems with other sites too. However, the slowness of the forum gets pretty radical at times. I'll watch the time it takes in my other internet endeavors more closely now.

This is the last time I'm saying it, it's not the server or the forums. We've checked the server, checked the load on it and the traffic. It is the Internet and the service providers. Either there is alot of traffic or they are limiting the loads.

I am closing this senseless thread.
