The only reason I'm saying they're OK is that they don't really look like her. I think it might be the hair!?!

We tried to preserve the Smilie look, yet also give the impression it's Betty.

If the poll indicates most of you don't like the present ones, we'll have everyone participating when we create new ones.

I have to agree, they don't really look like her, but yet they are cute, it must be the hair maybe. Oh by the way I'm new here, I'm also A new Betty Boop fan. I just bought her 8 video casset collection of video's let's just say I'm hooked.

The Betty Boop smilies are cute... but can't you just use a mini version of Betty's actual face?

I know you've tried to make these smilies look like a replica of Betty with the hair but something is missing.. maybe the eyes or lips?

It's a great idea to have Betty's face as a smilie but I still feel that you should use her actual face and surely you must have a million different expressions on her face that would work as "smilies".....

Anybody else agree with me?

I agree. I think it could look alot more like Betty Boop. I'm not sure what it is but it just doesn't quite look like her...

They are very cute but I would personally like them better if they looked more like Betty. The main thing is probably the shape of her head.

I totally agree with everyone. Although they are cute, they really don't look much like Betty.

I agree with most of everyone. There is something missing with the smilies. I think maybe some of it is the hair while the other part might be the shape of her head. When you look at Betty Boop her head isn't perfectly round.

Hey Big Betty Boop... it's nice to see a fellow Buckeye who is also a Betty Boop fan! I'm a "displaced" Buckeye myself out here in the wild, wild west of Arizona.

It's nice to see so much input regarding the "smilies" ... they are cute but they just don't have Betty's character or something, do they?

I agree with you as well I'm sure it's possible to find so many expressions in BB's face that it will be just difficult to choose the appropriate then !

When you're writing or replying to a post, you can just click on a Smilie which is in a box to the left of where you're typing a message.

I understand what you mean now! When you selected a Smilie, it didn't show up as a Smilie in your message but rather as text. As a result you thought there was a problem with your computer. - LOL :)

i think the smilies are good for now, i mean we can't be that picky. Even if the smilies don't look EXACTLY like betty that doesnt matter because we're here to talk about Betty stuff.

Hi,

Personally, I like the smilies! I can agree on the fact that they don't look 100% like her...but I strongly believe that's because the way her head is shaped...but keep in mind that all smilies (that I have ever seen) are just round...who has a head shaped like Betty anyway??? LOL

I still think they're cute, though. I use 'em in my signature...I just can't wait until the Comet Cursor has BB as an option to use permanently on your comp...it'd look sooo nice with all the BB wallpapers and images I have! :D

:D It's true they don't look much like betty but you can tell it's gotta be her. I like them I think that they are just darn cute!!;) Well if not anything at all they are much better then the plain ones. :P
