You can't use the Betty Boop image for any financial gain unless licensed by King Features or the Hearst Corporation to do so.

It is possible that this seller doesn't know this and is genuinely selling one-off pictures to make a little money for her or his brother. If so, it's technically a breach of copyright but I wouldn't be unsympathetic.

However, I'm an old cynic and I think it's a scam.

Also, the pictures are poor. Horrible legs.

It wasn't very good. There is so much fabulous licensed Betty Boop art out there that I wouldn't waste my money on something like that.

I noticed that this artist is also selling Winnie-The-Pooh art and I know that this icon is also supposed to be licensed. Well, what do you expect of an imprisoned criminal? That he will respect copyright laws?

I think it is a scam....I personally do not think there is a brother in prison drawing them. My opinion only! :D

I sent her an email asking her about her brother and never got any response. So I think it's a scam too and why should people support a criminal in prison anyway?
