which episode??

I have been looking for years to find the episode that the "music" is all sung by the people in the band. One band member "sang" trumpet one "sang" drums etc. I was so impressed with the singing I really didn't catch the show but just remember has to do with a large sail boat (pirate ship?). Can anyone tell me what episode this is????
I do remember that it was a black and white (that eliminates one episode).

I don't recall the instrumental singing.

However, Swim or Sink (or S.O.S) took place on a pirate ship, so it's probably the one you're thinking about.

For a while some network was showing a behind the scenes of Popeye, Betty Boop etc. Showing Cab Callaway and the rest. This episode must have been done with rotoscope because they showed the actual musicians/singers doing the music. Too bad I can't remember who showed it (PBS?) but then again I am just an old hippie after all!

I'm certain Musical Mountaineers used real instruments - and some excellent Bluegrass picking at that. Also it was in a mountain cabin, not a boat.

If anyone has any other suggestions I'd be delighted to hear them.
