A friend had bought this dish somewhere thinking that it was a Betty Boop. I'm not too certain myself. It looks kind of like her but I'm just not sure. Can you tell me anything about her? The bottom has stamped RX and DEP respectively above and below the blue stamp.

I don't think that is Betty Boop. The Betty Boop looks is base on the fashion style from the "Roarin' Twenties" just like this dish was.

This is a very nice piece, but it's not Betty, just an 'ordinary' flapper. But for your collection, she certainly could be Betty! She certainly looks similar.

Hi KyHB2006.. welcome to the forum. This is a nice piece and does resemble Betty Boop but the hair and eyes aren't right. I hope your friend won't be too disappointed.

It is a classic flapper, most likely from Great Britain. Not a licensed product. What makes you think it is a genuine Betty Boop item?
