Today is Betty's birthday!!!!! It was on this day in 1930 that Betty Boop made her debut in Max Fleischer's animation short "Dizzy Dishes."

Since then, Betty Boop has only gotten sweeter and more beautiful over time.:D

Okay now see I've read that it was July 30, 1930 that she made her debut. I would love for it to be today cause it's my birthday. So the question is which day did she make her debut? July 30, or August 9, 1930?

Well that's a good question. I'm not sure of the answer.. PR Betty is affiliated with King Features, so I'd think she'd know the answer.....
