I myself enjoyed these holidays more than I ever had before.... but at least the traffic is back to normal now and shopping is back to normal now.

I have to agree that I enjoy the holidays more and more each year too. Maybe we appreciate it more the older we get?

I think you hit upon something.
I think as we get older, our priorities change and we get closer to earthiness. We appreciate each other more and material things less.

Both my dad and my grandmother tried to tell me that years ago and I just thought they were "old"... well now that I'm "old" myself, I can see how justified they were in trying to tell me that.
My dad didn't want me to ride a motorcycle because he was afraid I'd get hurt and now that I'm "older" I am seriously considering heeding his advice!!

You should let me know and maybe we could meet. I would love that. Take care of that knee and have a Wonderful Christmas!!
I just saw this. Thanks for your well wishes ckbrownjr.
I did have a wonderful Christmas. Back to work 8, Jan, 07.
I have one more injection (into the knees) left and I'll be done with that. The GEL inserted will just help to cushion the joint and provide flexibility and less pain.

Where would be a good place to go on a motorcycle for a special vacation?

It depends on what time of the year you plan to make the trip.

Any beautiful or fun destination becomes more fun to go there when you ride!
I may be changing jobs soon and I plan to take a much needed week off. Jack and I are speculating about taking a motorcycle trip somewhere. We are considering Las Vegas, although we will need to find a pet sitter.

Las Vegas would be fun... maybe you and Jack should come here and go to the Laughlin River Run with Don and I... it's the end of April.

Well, it all depends on our work situation. Also, now I will have a new baby to take care of after March 6th... (baby puppy that is...)
I'm not sure when I'll be changing jobs. The place I interviewed with wants me but business has to pick up before they will start me. They want me to have the best chance to get on my feet and be successful. That's okay because I have a job currently and I'm not desperate. The place where I want to work sells all kinds of gorgeous furniture and I think that I'll enjoy it more than where I'm working now.

Thanks BBB. This little fellow is a boy. He is bigger than the others in the litter. I think he will look the most like his father.
I am still working on a name. I have listed a few ideas in my Photo Fun thread.
