That is one of the truest statements I've ever heard. And millions of musicians will agree with you. We figure that our music is a hobby and we have spent (and still spend) more money on our equipment and time invested than we'll ever recoup from playing paying gigs. But we do it cause we love it!! We have just as much fun sitting on our deck jamming with friends as we do standing up in front of a big crowd.

Yes, well, it evolved. It kind of sounds like "Pudgy" though.
His real name is actually Tane Kona. I got him shortly after I had gotten back from a Hawaiin vacation. His coat is bright orange (like fire) and since he was a boy I couldn't name him Pele, the volcano/fire goddess. Tane is the male counterpart of Pele in the South Seas.

I like to talk and sing to my animals and I started talking like Tweetie Bird and saying "I taut I taw a puddy tat", then started calling him Puddy, which eventually evolved to Poodgie. He's got lots of nicknames, like Pudini, but mostly I call him Poodgie.

I hope that the General picks up a digital camera so that he can easily and clearly show off his pictures. I'd love to see close-ups of the train collection. The digital cameras have a macro setting that allows for clear close-ups.

General, you can get a very good but inexpensive digital camera at tigerdirect.com. I got one for my boyfriend for Christmas and it's a really good camera. He loves it. The brand is "Concord" but they have other good ones too.

They have a good deal right now on a flash drive and I think I'll get one of those today.

I hope that the General picks up a digital camera so that he can easily and clearly show off his pictures. I'd love to see close-ups of the train collection. The digital cameras have a macro setting that allows for clear close-ups.

Having grown up there I can verify that it is an amazing city for someone with as good a photographic eye as Michaels's.

I came across this on ebay (imagine that, me on ebay...lol) and I was so impressed with it. It was new still in the box. I fell in love with it when I saw it. I had to back off once it reached $50. I couldn't go anymore on it or the hubby would have killed me....lol. I wanted it though!!! :D
